This was the first rafting trip me and my family had ever been on. The main Salmon River was an incredible place. We did a 5 day trip with some other family friends and a whole mess of kids. The guides were very knowledgeable, professional, safe & fun. They have their and program really dialed in. The guides provided lots of details and facts about the river and the surrounding areas as we floated through the wilderness. The food was incredible! We do a lot of camping and this was the best camping experience we have had. They put maximum effort in to make sure our kids were comfortable and most of all having a great time. We will definitely be going on this trip again in he coming years as a family. I am planning to book a fishing trip with this crew in 2021.

I have gone on several trips with this company ranging from a steelhead fishing and camping trip in the early spring, to a lodge-to-lodge trip in the late fall. They are an exceptional company who take first-class care of their guests. The guides must work a total of 20 hours each day making sure everything is perfect, and it is. They are also expert at getting you wet or keeping you dry in the rapids, depending on your preference. The river is incredible, the rapids are exciting, the fishing is great, and camp is surprisingly comfortable. It is an excellent way to connect with family, friends, make new friends, and completely forget about the connected world. This is a place and a vacation where stress is completely removed. If you are thinking about a trip with this company, don't hesitate.

My wife and I along with our son did a 3-day float trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in September. Havinbg been a lover of the great outdoors all 78 years of my life, that trip down the River of No Return left nothing to be disappointed about. The scenery was beautiful, the food delicious, and the rafting was relaxing and at times thrilling. The guides were efficient, friendly, and entertaining. Totally enjoyable! What a great way to spend a piece of retirement.

Our family loves camping, hiking, and backpacking, but this was our first multiple day wilderness rafting adventure. It was a combination of low impact camping, sleeping under the stars in tents with incredible food, stellar local guides who love the area, great rafting adventures, and complete relaxation "off the grid". We had the option of paddling in two-person inflatable kayaks, relaxing on a raft, or paddling in the seven person oar boat. We covered about 20 miles per day but had time each afternoon for relaxing. In late July/early August, there were light class 4 and mostly class 2 and 3 rapids. There was plenty of adventure for adults and six teenagers alike. (We understand from the guides that earlier in the season the water is higher and rougher so you could choose more adventure early in the season.) Our local guides of this husband-wife owned company (co-owner Matt, his brother-in-law Zack, family friends Tessa and Tucker) were the best! Great service, wonderful food cooked by the guides, always helpful. Their team work and trust in each other built over years was evident. Our group felt very welcomed and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely return to this pristine gorgeous wilderness, and I would not go with any other company!

This was a great experience for me and my 16 and 17-year old boys. We were had the option of paddling, or sitting in an oar boat or paddling a 2 man inflatable kayak for a 5 day trip down light class 4, but mostly class 2 and 3 rapids. The guides (Matt, Zack, Tessa and Tucker) were the best! Great cooking, helpful in every way possible. This is a river that has enough thrill to be fun, but not too much to scare away the family (spoken by the mom of the group). RONRO has my whole-hearted recommendation. Thanks for a great trip guys!
