Great day, great guide, GREAT TIME! I've been on other rivers with different companies & different inflatable kayaks and Orange Torpedo's are the best. Very comfortable & great flotation. My family has used them in the past & we already have out trip planned for next year.

The OTT Lower Salmon River 3-night adventure is the perfect escape. The trip includes four days of kayaking (or rafting) some very entertaining water and 3 nights of excellent food, family friendly games and laughter on some beautiful sandy beaches. Our awesome guides (Dowd, Moonie, Wedge, Noah, Anna and Jessie) were simultaneously safety conscious and fun loving. Highlights of the trip: whitewater, impressive geology, starry nights, Bighorn Sheep, a family of otters, frogs and toads, wonderful people from all over the country.

You HAVE to do this if you like to see some of the best scenery in the country and have a blast with great people. Orange Torpedo made sure we were all taken care of with great food and beverages. Having beer, wine and soft drinks after we were off the river was nice and drinking water was plentiful while we either were on the kayak or raft. The crew of Dowd, Mooney, Wedge, Anna, Jessie, Grayson and Noah were all very professional and fun to be around. We got to meet new friends from across the country and enjoyed conversations all day long. We also were able to see bald eagles and big horn sheep along with other creatures wondering around the Salmon River. The equipment was great and safety was insured. We had a combination of the fun rapids and the peaceful calm of the river. My wife and I had never done anything like this before which is why we decided on the Lower Salmon trip of 4 days and 3 nights. We ended with a fun jet boat trip back to Lewiston going down The Snake River for about an hour and a half. Do it!!!!!!

My husband and I just finished the lower Salmon 3 night trip. It was a fantastic time - the guides were amazing! They were all young but very experienced and knowledgeable. Safety was just as important as fun. Big thanks to Moonie, Dowd, Wedge, Noah, Anna and Jess! We used the kayaks one day and the rest of the time were in the raft. Enjoyed both. First time for my husband and I in inflatable kayaks. If you aren’t used to a kayak I recommend signing up for paddling in the raft as it is likely someone in a kayak will be happy to swap with you for a day or so. Paddling a kayak all day can wear you out depending on your fitness level. All meals were great. I have no complaints and highly recommend this trip.

I have rafted a few times in Maine. This was a great experience for my teens first time. The guides do the majority of the paddling with some help through the rapids by the rafters. Our guide Noah was excellent. Great memories were made. The are restrooms at the launch and pullout site. Bring extra clothing we were soaked!
