My family and I did an overnight raft trip! We all had the most special time and will cherish this trip. Jenna, Tim, Donney, Tom, Noah exceeded our expectations. Their experience and knowledge are above and beyond. Very genuine people, with pure hearts of joy. So much fun to be around and their cooking is delicious! Would love to do again!

Just got off a 3-day Hells Canyon trip with MRO. We had a great trip with Ryan, Shaggy, and Lonnie as guides. My husband and I were laughing so hard we were crying at the after-dinner campfire. We can't wait to come back next year!

We did the 5-day rafting trip through Hell’s Canyon. It was fantastic! Our crew was not only great, but they were fun too. We had a group of 15, and they made the trip so memorable. Each day the setup crew went ahead and by the time we arrived at camp, everything was setup and ready for us. The food was very good! Highly recommend this trip!!

Very nice boat, well handled. Fished hard & long for salmon. Captain could have provided much better instruction regarding fishing technique, & why the technique was necessary. crew worked hard. Pleasant conversation (& very nice day). Good lunch.

We booked a Cast and Blast trip with MRO in Hells Canyon in September 2021. We had a really awesome time and for the most part our crew was very good. I have been on several guided hunting and fishing excursions throughout the US. Some parts about this trip were 5 star and some parts were average or below. I will try to expand on what I mean by using a rating system 1 the worst through 5 being the best. Food, I rate the food 4 Kyle did a good job and tried very hard to get it right. the one critique that I have was the prime rib was woefully over cooked. I think that it is a hard place to do a prime rib. Maybe a change in menu for the beef night to a Flank steak that would be easier to manage. Boat, I give it a 5 the boat was in very good condition and comfortable and Peyton's skills operating the boat on a challenging river were impressive . Camping Gear. I rate this category 2.5 The wall tent was nice and in good shape, the biggest miss here was there was a partial floor in the tent which made it just a little better than none at all. There was no wire or strings in the tent to hang wet clothes to dry. (It rained off and on the whole trip) The cots and the pads were fine. the sleeping bags were in good shape but smelled extremely musty and the liners were not zipped into the bag so after you rolled over the first time you were all tangled up. Fishing Gear, I give this a 5, the rods, reels, and tackle were in good shape and the right equipment for the job. Knowledge, I rate this a 4, For the most part Peyton knew what he was doing and was able to help our wives and us to get on the right track. I had to take into consideration that he was just 21 and therefore had to bite my lip a few times. And I even told him once that I wish that I could be 21 again so that I would know everything. Hunting Dog, This I rate a 3, I was asked by Brenda right before we came if we were bringing a dog and I told her no. Then she asked if we wanted to have our guide bring his dog. I asked was it a good dog and was assured it was. She said it would be $50 per day. I agreed that was fair. This is basically a 2 day 2 night trip as you get picked up at the boat ramp at 4Pm the first day and hunt your way to camp which ended up being an hour away. Then we got settled into the tent and had dinner. The next day is a full day and the following day is equivalent to 3/4 day from 8 am to 3 Pm. When I asked how much I owed him for the dog, (because we paid directly to Peyton) he said I owed him for 3 days. Probably not a big deal but I was a little irritated about it. Success, 4.5 We caught two very nice Chinook Salmon, small mouth bass until you were tired of catching them. The Chucker hunting is very hard and when we were there the birds were scarce. We got into 2 good covey's and a whole bunch of hiking. For the most part we had a great time it is an amazing place. I doubt that I will go back as it is a fairly expensive for what you get in return.
