I love this little hike! A good local alternative to the R mountain. It’s good for kids if you want something mild. Just stay on the boardwalk. Or if you want to adventure bit more you can just keep going up the mountain. Awesome views...More

These trails are easy for the whole family. The fall colors from the top are amazing! If you look closely lots of small critters!

A great hike for some learning of the area and ancient volcanoes for young families or youth groups. Hot and dry, bring your water bottles.

Very short hike. Starts with paved (concrete) sidewall with noth stairs and ramps that lead to a wide gravel loop. There are a handful of lookouts and many informational signs and interactive books. The views over the snake river are nice.

This is a great hike with excellent views. It's kind of steep at first, then when you get on top, the views go forever. In summer there's water cress growing in the steram.

Nice place to spend a morning or afternoon if you live nearby. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to stop here if you are traveling through Idaho.
