- Donna FSnohomish, Washington12 contributionsGreat local parkThis is a wonderful local park. It is located on the river/lake/falls. There are signs telling about the history of the site, the 2 sawmills, 3 dams and a grist mill. These were in production from 1905-1995. If you are not interested in history. There is a small lake where I saw people fishing off of the bridge. The play area was under construction. There is a trail that skirts the outside of the park. When I was there the dam was open and water was flooding out of it.Written June 24, 2021
- Cruising-alongLake Stevens, Washington184 contributionsNice park and worth seeing. On a road trip we stopped to stretch our legs at this park. It's quite pretty and if it hadn't been 100 degrees that day we would have spent more time browsing around. It looks like a nice place for families to relax and let the kids play. The falls weren't quite what I expected, but I hadn't researched it beforehand. I'm still glad we stopped and spent some time there.Written September 18, 2020
- Mark & Jennifer D17 contributionsNice little parkNice little park with a short path system. Great place for a quick stop especially for young families. Not the greatest place for photography as there isn’t great vantage points for images.Traveled soloWritten January 10, 2021

The falls were definitely worth the stop! The falls and the canyon it flows into were very beautiful. The park situated right there is also very nice and well kept. Would be a great picnic spot or to do a little fishing in their ponds.

Good spot to rest, picnic and restrooms. It’s a nice little city park next to a large dam with history to share. Free and dog friendly. Easy to walk around or just sit while kids play on the playground… or bring your fishing pole!

If you are traveling through this is only1 minute off I-90.
The falls are always flowing while Fall and Spring flows are tremendous and loud...fenced for safety you are still up close and personal.
Enjoy

We were traveling between Coeur D'Aleen and Spokane and stopped at the park based on the beautiful photographs. The City has done an excellent job preserving the beauty of the area. There is a path that provides easy access to a viewpoint for the falls. One can wear pretty much any type of shoe they want to see these falls. There isn't a lot of parking so I assume the park doesn't get many tourists. It is definitely worth getting off the highway for a nice stroll through the park.

It's beautiful and just a nice place to go for a 30 min or hour walk. It's clean and not overly crowded.

Great little park with a playground, paved walking trails, and lots of signage to read and learn about the history of the area and the dam. Would make for a good picnic spot as well.

These dams hold back Coeur d'Alene Lake -- and the history dates from 1902! Good history lesson, and a nice viewpoint to go with the little park and pond for the kids.

It's a nice little park but after an hour of walking and driving around we could not fine the view pictured. There is a small canyon which is quite beautiful but getting down to it for a picture requires navigating a fairly steep path of loose gravel and making you way along the river bed. We never did see any falls. If you have other business in Post Fall and have time to kill, it might be a quiet place to relax, but I wouldn't stop just to see the park.

One my favorite places to walk.
Easy incline and wide paths, suitable for 19 mo to 91 years.
Zen moment just a few blocks from my home. The park blends gentle walking, great views of the river, and forest breathing.

Enjoyed walking around this park. Saw a hawk examining the grounds - looking for a meal I suspect. Note that the north Idaho centennial trail is in the same vicinity

Can you see the falls from a roadway? My partner has mobility issues. We will be traveling from Spokane to Coure de lane mid May and last time we were in the area never found the falls!

The Falls can be seen by car from I-90 just before the Spoakne St exit. Pull over and look to the South.
Also, the Falls are only a few steps from the available parking lot
