This is one of my favourite lakes to walk around. It is a 3.5km walk, I usually take over an hour and a half, as I photograph everything and sit to admire the views on the many benches placed around the lakes shoreline. The bird life is fantastic, with the Black Swan, the most enjoyable. Be careful as they can... More

I walk with friends and Lake Monger and the path around and Boardwalk make a good circuit. Communing with nature and watching the seasons and the water birds makes a good start to the day. A great place to see Western Australia's emblem the Black Swan.

This is one of the best locations for either running, walking or cycling and the scenery and wildlife makes you want to do another lap. If your not into fitness it's still a great place to go for a stroll or just simply sit and watch everything that goes on, people and their dogs or friends & families having a... More

Walk, bike, skate or jog around the 3.5km circumference track around the lake. It is a great place for a bit of exercise and nice and scenic to boot.

Beautiful spot for a stroll. Lots of friendly people out and about. Some great way finding signage. Very informative about the nature and history of the lake. Who knew?

With the abundance of waterbird life on the lake and native birds in the trees Lake Monger is a paradise not only for bird watching but also for the keen photographer. The lake has an excellent walking path around it and a special path for the conservation area, there is a picnic area with barbecues and some gazebos for those... More

Lake Monger was across the road from where we stayed and we utilized it for exercise while we were there. The lake area is quite expansive and well maintained. The lake could do with a at least a mobile coffee outlet, which I think over time would make good money.
