The Malabar headland walk follows the coastline between Maroubra beach and Malabar beach. Some of scenery is second to none in the Sydney area. In summer take water and wear shoes because it can get very hot. We started at Malabar, walked to Maroubra along...More

Absolutely lovely coastal walk in an indigenous forest. We did it several times. Add an urban coastal walk from Maroubra to Bondi Beach for the more energetic. We took the bus back.

Easy to get a park at the southern end of Maroubra beach. Really good walk, hike or run along the coastal. Boardwalk or decent dirt track most of the way. Really nice views of the coastline and cliffs.

I highly recommend the new boardwalk opened between Malabar and Maroubra. This walk is along side the cliffs and the view is outstanding. You can also see whales passing by if you happen to be there at the whale season. Very nice way to spend...More

Lovely walk around Malabar heads, we intentionally went during whale season and were lucky enough to see two whales come within 20m of the cliff we were standing on. Was the closest I'd ever seen whales and was so impressive. Would come back here just...More

We did this walk with our 3 children (aged 4, 6 and 8). It wasn't too hard for them and it was a lovely walk.
