What a wonderful place to visit and explore history. Self guided tour with the ability to read precious stories. Be sure to allow plenty of time to explore. Would not recommend young children only because you want the time to read and look at exhibits.

Very walkable which is something to consider if you're already weary from visiting Boise's many sites. No one in our party is an airplane fanatic, but there was something of interest for each of us...United Airlines history, military history, engine info, personal histories, uniforms, and...More

Lots of great historical artifacts, planes, cars, etc. This place is huge so you're going to need at least a couple of hours, if not more.

Very good collection, one of the best !!! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and the displays are fantastic. The P-40 Warhawk is one of the best and it still flies. The yearly fly in is the best in Idaho.

We spent an afternoon touring this museum. It was so interesting because there were a lot of personal items that made you think about the people involved, not just the events. There were also binders with people's stories in them. The planes and their history...More

There is a cafe that overlooks the airfield that was open when we visited..A grill type of place. We went into Nampa and ate at Freddy's - which I also wrote a review on. It was great! Wonderful for a family...
