The Nampa Greenbelt is a short distance from our house and in the summer we walk it almost every night! My son loves all the animal that he sees along the way since it is near some cows, goats, and there are ducks everywhere!

Using a one speed bike, strolling along be green belt was the thing to do on a nice, warm day. I really enjoyed the views and the ease of the paths. I would suggest it for anyone who is looking for a mindless activity on a nice day.

We took a lovely stroll down the green belt in the evening. So peaceful and relaxing, the part we walked was along the stream, so there were ducks with their babies, the kids were thrilled

The Boise greenbelt can be travelled continuous throughout the whole city and on nearly to Star, ID. Nampa’s is nice in the places that it runs continuous, but is so segmented and broken apart it’s not really useful. Also has a negative impact on property values as cities are rated by their alternatives to motor vehicle transportation. Nampa as a city scores very low in this area.

The city of Nampa really missed the boat in their early planning. Unlike, Boise, 20 miles down the road, Nampa must have thought about a green belt late. There is a creek running through town and only small portions have a walking path and it is broken up into many unconnected segments. If you are looking for a long walk, like maybe more than 3 miles, you won't find it.

I recently had both knees replaced and the doctor recommended using a recumbent bike for the best recovery. I found a recumbent trike on CL and love it. It is 3 miles each direction and it is scenic and never crowded. Love having a Greenbelt a few blocks from our house. It is helping me be healthy.

It’s especially nice in April/May when a wide variety of birds are in full song and the flowers are blooming.

This is a wonderful spot to walk - safe and protected with well marked and flagged street crossings. It follows Wilson Drain through some nice neighborhoods. It is possible to walk some or all of the several miles of paved trails

I live in Nampa and often walk the greenbelt. You will see all kinds of birds - ducks, geese, hummingbirds, and occasionally the resident blue heron and a rare kingfisher. May and June bring dozens of ducklings and goslings.
