This is a beautiful park! We Nordic skied today, they did a great job of grooming the trails! We did a couple of laps with the dogs, it's nice that they have a short ( 1 mile) dog loop. Then hut another loop. This park...More

Visited the park this week, and really enjoyed walking the snowy trails that the park provides for both cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Plenty of space for parking, the visitor's center is open for advice, too.

This is not a park situated in or near the wilderness...it is a hop, skip, and a jump away from McCall, Idaho. Standing on the shore of the lake, one can see summer homes surrounding the park on the opposite shore. Thus, it does not feel...More

Beautiful combination of old growth trees and Payette Lake views and shoreline. But if hiking, do not trust the map they hand you on entry, it's not just a little off, it is flat out wrong in both scale and trail locations.

We mountain biked the huckleberry bay trail along the east side of the park ... single track was a work out. Ended at the point which give you a beautiful panoramic view of the lake. Definitely worth seeing.

Went to the top of the mountain which overlooks Payette Lake. Just an incredible view and met some locals, who were so nice and gave us a little more history on the area as well as places to explore and see.

The park map should have the maximum foot length on the campsites where you make reservations. My favorite are the loops in the old part, Aspen, Blackberry, Chokecherry.
