This small museum is packed with interesting exhibits and information. The staff was friendly and helpful. Has kid-friendly activities and too long so they won't get bored.

This is a small historical museum but the artifacts in it are interesting. A good way to spend a couple of hours learning more about the Nez Perce Indians, and the history of Nez Perce, Idaho. There is a hands on area to take the children (or in our case, adults that acted like children). You can post a note on the board about your experience at the museum. We all said it was a good outing for persons with limited walking ability.

We really enjoyed our visit to this museum with its very detailed displays and friendly, informative workers/volunteers. Its location in downtown Lewiston was very convenient for further walking along the historic streets to view the remaining historic buildings.
