We discovered this gem of a hot spring enroute to Grand Canyon. What a wonderfully relaxing stop. There are 5 pools of varying degrees of heat. The hot hot pool was too hot for this girl but the gravel bottom was cool. Spent most of my time in the beautiful regular hot pool made with slabs of rock. All pools... More

I had never been to Lava before so was excited to try it out. We went to the Pools...and it was pretty cool for about 10 minutes. BUT.....I am not a hot tub fan, so duh...I wouldn't care for it. But if you DO...then you will love it.

Loved it. A great way to relax and take time to reflect. And only three blocks from the Lovely Alpaca Inn.

Super hot (102 -112 degrees) mineral springs come right up out of the earth to fill these beautiful stone pools, some with jets, some still. It's amazingly relaxing. We went at night. It was raining lightly and chilly (50's) outside so steam was pouring off the pools giving it a mystical feeling. It was easy to understand why the Indians... More

Wonderful and charming place to relax in the hot springs. It's only 10 dollars for an all day pass, or 8 for a one time entry. There pools ranging from 102-111 degrees. Personally I could not handle the 111 degree pool, but others enjoyed it. There are three regular hot springs pools, and two Jacuzzi type pools. There are also... More

We have been mini-vacationing in Lava for several decades, staying on average about once per year. This is a quaint little town with plenty of places to stay and eat. The hot springs are a delight in every season. Winter in the snow is a blast. They have several pools with various temperatures. We go every night for about an... More

I love hot springs resorts. This one is my favorite. They have about 5 or 6 seperate pools at various temperatures. We usually get a massage while we are there. The massages this time were some of the best we have ever had anywhere.

Drove over from SLC, took about 2 hours. Beautiful drive. We (14yo DD and my self) opted only try the Hot Pools. There were several pools, all different temps. We started with the hottest one first. Wow, just a bit to hot to my liking. Felt like a lobster being put in the pot to boil. We worked our way... More

I loved the hottest pool it was very relaxing clean and not very crowded. (very relaxing) That next cooler one was a good resting place to recover from the melting pot. I thought... More
