Pools are relaxing. There are different temperatures of pools. Change room was kind gross but that may be my aversion to public restrooms. Town itself is small. Forces you to relax and slow down. Not many places to eat but there is a grocery store at one end of town. We went in March so only the Hot Springs were... More

this place is amazing, we love it aside from the fees being nice, the untouched natural water really gives you a boost. the facilities could be a bit better in terms of showers to use afterwards and maybe more changing rooms. but all in all, one of my favorite places to go. oh, don't go during the summer. go in... I went in the winter with friends for the first time. I felt like one of those artic monkies with the misty water and snow lightly falling down around me. It was quite beautiful. The place is reasonably priced and has lockers you can use for .50. Many pools to choose from, including a super hot one.

Been going to the Hot Pools since 94 and still love to go in the winter, sit in the hot water and relax.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the hot pools with our Family in Nov. 16, but our overnight stay at the City Center KOA was marred by the nearby trains and their HORNS which went on and on about every 30 minutes ALL NIGHT LONG. GO - by all means and enjoy the place, but if you choose to stay... More

I really liked that the facilities are clean. Some hot pools I've been to were a bit on the nasty side but these guys keep everything clean.

Wonderful hot pools, very clean. Buy the day pass so you can just keep going back. We went early in the day and it was less crowded. Went for a drive and dinner and went back in the evening. Quite crowded then but everyone is just relaxing on the side so there was plenty of room and with 5 pools... More

We'll be honest, this is the main reason people visit Lava Hot Springs! If you show up on the weekends--even during the off season (November-May) it'll be relatively busy. But it's still nice, the hot pools vary in temperature the further you get from the source of the spring. During the summer it might be nice to split your time... More

The facility is clean and well laid out. The staff is friendly. The pools are varied - you can lounge in a moderately hot pool or make your way to the hottest pool ever!
