Drove into Boise late in the day after a 3000 mile drive and needed a golf fix. After going to two other local courses that could not get me on I was directed to Falcon Crest by one of the other courses and they were able to get me on the Championship Course. I'm 61 years old, but can still crank out some pretty hefty drives so decided to play from the back tees, usually play the whites, but was feeling my oats and at 7100 yds this course did not disappoint. The par threes were majestic and the shortest one was 195. I shot 81 with pars on the #1 and #2 handicap holes. In my opinion the #2 handicap is tougher than the #1. Tough greens and fast. Very nice fairways and even the traps are well maintained and I found a few. I've played golf all over the US and this is a top 25 course in my book. If you get to Boise make a point to play this course.

This course is not only one of the most beautiful with ponds, waterfalls, train trestle bridges, but is noted as one of Idaho's courses to challenge your handicap.

The course is well maintained and they allow doubles if it is just a couple wanting to play.

The clubhouse is nothing to write about, but the staff are always pleasant. Great driving ranges and an area that allows for sandtrap to green practice and a huge putting green.

One of my favorite among the many courses in and around Boise, Idaho

Golfers playing Falcon Crest have options for several levels of play. The Robin Hood course is an executive length, but offers challenges on every hole. With the longest hole measuring just over 300 yards, you'll have the opportunity to work your short game on this course. For those wanting a bit more challenge, you can play either the Freedom Course (9 hole championship course) or the Championship Course.

What I love about this course are the options. The championship course is amazing and fun challenge for all ability levels. For those with little kids that just want to have some family fun the Robbin Hood executive course is the place to be. If you want a challenge but don’t have time for 18 I love the freedom course. There are 5 tee boxes and if you play the tips be prepared for an over 700 yard par 5! Great place to play!

We played the main course and it was fantastic! We were cautioned against walking, but decided to anyway. YES - there are hikes in between holes - but it is a GREAT walk. We didn't hold anyone up and played in a little over 4 hours. It is a challenging course and the greens are TOUGH. The whole course is in great shape and the green fees are very reasonably. Looking forward to playing it again - hopefully better - on my next visit.

Best to rent a riding cart here. Some holes you tee off from way up in the sky, and others are way down in the valley. A really fun course with a great variety of holes. Fairways are green and lush. The greens are slicker than a greased pig. Every put seemed to go 20' past the hold. It took me 16 holes to get the feel of it. You will really enjoy this course.
