We visited Idaho from NC for the holidays and tubing at magic mountain was a definite highlight of our trip. The staff was wonderful especially Christian.

We went there on Sunday straight after new year. We were made to feel very welcome & had a great day. The lift tickets are not expensive, the food is not expensive & its all great value for the money. It's not a massive area & its not altra modern but it's got everything you need for a great day skiing. The pistes were not busy & we found no lift queues (there were only 2). The pistes were well groomed & there was a good choice even though there as only one chair.
Wishes we had time to ski there again.it is defiantly well worth a visit for a day. Great for familys, had what looked like a great tubing area.y.

The lodge is older and could use some renovations, but it is the snow that keeps me going back. Those that run it also keep me going back due to their customer service. You can't always judge a book by its cover. The snow is amazing. There is no other snow like it.

March 10th went to the ski lodge to check in and it was very unkept. The bathrooms downstairs were dark and dirty. While our boys were skiing my husband and I went in to get a drink. There were no diet soft drinks because the lady said it was near the end of their season and wasn't going to stock anymore. We both pulled two cans of Bud Light out of the cooler with well marked prices, $2 for canned beer, $2.50 for bottled and $3 for imports. She tells my husband $6. I told her that they were two dollars each on the sign and she stated that those were last years prices. One can was already opened so we took them and left. Had it not been open I would have left them on the counter. We were cheated to make it a profitable season.
