The best way to see all of the islands in the Venetian Lagoon and cool off with a refreshing swim is to rent your own boat. No license required! Marco and his team provided excellent service and instruction to assure that we had a safe and enjoyable day out on the water. The boat was impeccably clean with every accessory in working order including a canopy and latter to get in and out of the water. Marco gave me some great tips on where to go and what to see. It was a great experience which I would definitely repeat.

My husband and I rented regular bikes to ride to Pellestrina. It was €10 for each bike for the entire day (they close at 7:00 PM). We were given locks and a map and our bikes were practically brand new. Rental was quick - just left one drivers license and drop off was a quick payment.

Best way to spend a day in Venice when you need a break from the hustle and bustle! Short ferry ride to the beautiful island of Lido and you are transported to another world! This bike tour takes you all around the island and shows off its beautiful buildings, beaches and coastline. You can cycle at your own pace whilst taking in all the awesome views and sights that are on offer. Our lovely guide Luca kept us entertained pointing out things of interest and making sure we didn’t get lost or fall off 😉 can’t recommend this tour highly enough - thank you!

Nice persons, and good service, the best way of knowing Lido, it is a pity that we had less time than expected to use them

We rented ebikes to tour Lido. 20 Euro for the day was a bargain. Bikes were great - worked exactly as they should. Easy to ride on Lido's quiet streets and bike ways. Owner was very friendly. Answered all our questions and offered great route suggestions. Would highly recommend.

Exploring Venice lagoon on a private boat we have rented for a full day for from this business, was the perfect choice...We visited Burano by boat, stopped a few times to swim in the lagoon, even almost got stucked on shoal water; all in all, it was an adventurous exciting day. The boat was modern and the price affordable, not too powerful though, which was OK given the fact that we had little experience on driving boats, expecially on lagoon. The owner of the business was very helpful explaining all we needed to know about how to drive the boat on those canals, even made us a map to follow. I highly recommend it!

We went to the Lido on the 5th May 2017 with the sole intention of hiring a scooter I'd read all the reviews on trip advisor and this was going to be the highlight of my holiday
The weather was perfect and after finding my way to the bike shop I was totally gutted to find it closed
Their was no sign on the door nothing
I phoned the shop several times and the phone just kept ringing
I checked the website and it said the shop was open
Sorry guys in this day and age it's just not acceptable so it's a massive thumbs down from me
Needless to say I won't be coming back

Hi,
Unfortunately in those days I had a family problem and that particular day was a funeral. It may seem grotesque or fun, unfortunately it's just what happened. In any case I apologize because we always take care of our clients and I'm sorry too that you will not come back to find us again because we will be happy to welcome you as our many customers know we do, with courteous, professional and fun service that allows to enjoy a different day exploring our beautiful island enjoying the sun of our beaches and our lagoon just 10 minutes far away from Venice
Kind regards
Sebastiano

It only took 20 minutes from our booking until we sat on the scooter. Service was good, and she was very polite. She also made time to tell us where to eat and what to experience when we asked. We had a great time experiencing Lido on wheels. Traffic is easy.

Had such an amazing experience renting a scooter on our last day in Venice. Definitely the best way to get around and explore the island of LIdo. Very easy and affordable, we called from our hotel phone because our cell phones weren't working and Venice Scooter Rental came to meet us and delivered to scooter. Great experience!

We are coming in tomorrow and staying at the hotel kette, are you guys close to this for us to rent scooters?
Written June 17, 2018
Hi Kelly
Thanks to contact us!

Your hotel is in Venice historical center and in Venice you can only walk, there are not streets, no cars, buses, bikes or any other vehicle. Venice is situated across a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges, of which there are 400.
So, we are in Venice-Lido, an island 10 minutes far away from Venice where the are the beaches. If you decide to come to rent the scooter to visit Lido and its beaches you need a valid driving license (if U.S./canada citizen an International driving license is highly recommended), previous driving experience with motor-bikes and a credit card
Kind Regards

How much is a scooter rental for a day, including the deposit? My wife and I will be there in September.
Written June 7, 2017
My wife and I are traveling from the US, and from what I've read there is a requirement for either an "A2" or "A" driver's license to operate. Not being native to Italy, that is not something we have nor do we have time to obtain (if truly required). For those travelers originating state-side, was this an issue when renting the scooter? Our trip is in 2017, but I'm trying to figure out answers to questions as much in advance as possible. Also, if we are not staying on Lido but merely taking a taxi over, what would be the most convenient place to meet for scooter drop off? Thanks for all the (impending) help!
Written January 11, 2016
Hi, "A2" in Italy means people aged 18+. The U.S. car driving license is ok too, but previous experience driving a scooter or motorbike is advantageous and highly advised. If you have not ridden one, then you should do so before you come to Italy because we are not a driving school and we don’t provide any lesson on riding, but only instructions on how to operate the Scooters.
Our Scooters are easy to ride, but a good sense of balance and coordination is required. They are lighter and easier to drive than a larger motorbike but they are also heavier than a moped or bike. You will be driving a motor vehicle on public roads and you are responsible for your safety but also for the safety of other motorists, bikers and pedestrians. You must be able to control the scooter and drive it competently. The bottom line is that we just want everyone to have a safe and happy holiday! :-)
We are located in Venice Lido, an island in front of Venice. You can reach us easily by waterbus. Once drop off from the waterbus we are located 5 minutes far away.
Feel free to contact us and sorry for the late reply!!!
