We visited on a hot Sunday, it's a very busy beach with limited sun bed hire, there were none left by the time we arrived by lunch time. The beach is clean and serviced by a couple of beach bars serving food and cocktails.

While staying at the Excelsior hotel we were able to have a visit on the famous lido beach. Lucky we were when there was also a kite festival that weekend!

So easy to get to and many services. Central Lido is 10 minutes away, so plan on lunch, or gelato or a beer or cocktail on your outing. Water was calm and warm. Lots of space on the beach. Great for families for an afternoon...More

I did not use the waterbus since we were always so many people and according to our information it came to about the same amount as using the waterbus. My info was that the price was approx. 7 Euro per ride.
