Had a nice walk along the beach in the middle of winter, which was beautiful and atmospheric. I can imagine how busy it would get in the summer

Clean....efficient..manicured...well organised safe clean and a great place to take in the sun the sea and the moment...especially if you invest in a cabana, and a bottle of prosecco. Love the view, the people and the water...clean and welcoming.

Better in summer. Sand is a harsh texture and dark colour, with a few shells. Cafe bar available. Beach is mainly private and belongs to the hotels, but public are allowed to walk along near the sea.

We had a day on the Lido beach to escape the crowds of Venice. The beach is lovely and there are a few bars & cafes for drinks and refreshments. Was a great opportunity to recharge our batteries.

We walked along this beach on a cold, but bright day on 22nd December - we shared the whole stretch with about half a dozen other people - bliss. This is the place they filmed Death In Venice

Loved it 👍. Lovely view and wonderful for the couples . We had to hurry so we really didn't have enough time to roam around but enjoyed our short visit .

Lido is a wonderfully serene place in the winter. Although there are motor vehicles, unlike most of Venice, they are unobtrusive, and they stop for pedestrians! I imagine it can get rather crowded in the summer months.

I lo e the long sandy lagoon where you walk for a mile before your shoulders are covered but, if you can, try and get on a private hotel beach as the muncipal beach is a little tatty, serving canteen food.
