The fishing was awesome, the only thing better were the world class guides and 5 star family dining experience. This is truly the best kept secret in the west. Come to think about it, I should probably not be writing this review :)

Awesome fishing in the Teton area. Guide Tom Fenger put us in Tom some great fish on the S Fork of Snake even on a full moon day. Great food, wonderful place.

I went on a full day guide trip on the lower Snake with Russ and TVL. What great time. Russ knows the river and put me on fish. The whole experience with TVL was awesome. We arrived early and Brian checked us in. Then they allowed us to wait in the dinning room and offered coffee/snacks. They even walked by and checked on us. Unique to this day trip we were allowed to pack our on lunch boxes with a fabulous assortment of sandwiches and sides. Chicken Curry was tasty. Back to Russ, I really do not have the words to express his work efforts. On several different runs he would row back up stream to make sure every chance was given to hook up. I am really wanting to return to spend a few days at the lodge now and bring friends.

Full disclosure, our guide was our son Thomas (T2). So we knew that we would have a great day with him. What we’ve learned over the last 8 years is that the owners of TVL, Joselle and Brian Berry, want nothing more for their guests than to have an awesome fishing experience, and they work tirelessly to make sure that it happens, every day. Brian starts by hiring hardworking, knowledgeable guides that share his passion for fishing. Each morning, as the guides prepare to take you out on some of the world’s best trout water, they exchange stories and successes from the previous day and their excitement is contagious. Listening to these exchanges, it’s clear to me that they all care a lot and make the extra effort to show you the best possible day. Whether it’s stopping to rig your line with the tastiest bugs or hopping into a chilly, swift current to pull the boat upstream to give you another shot at some amazing trout, they are happy to do whatever it takes to maximize your enjoyment. It all starts at the top. Brian doesn’t ask them to do anything that he doesn’t do every day. Thanks to Joselle and Brian for putting in the hard work and creating an experience that’s world class.

Our family with young adult children had 3 boats with guides on the Snake River for the whole day. We all enjoyed it tremendously and even with a slow morning of fishing, the guides kept us focused, learning our cast and mend. We stayed completely engaged. After lunch, we felt ready to catch fish and boy did we catch fish. Thank you to TC, Tom, and Chris for a wonderful and unforgettable day.!
