Matt from Teton valley adventure showed us an amazing time at Yellowstone national park. His patience with the equipment and people not familiar with how to use the equipment was awesome. He displayed great knowledge of the area. He took us for an incredible and exhilarating snowmobile tour through all the popular spots in the park. The snow machines were in great shape and ran excellent. They outfitted us with nice warm boots and snowmobile suits.. I do recommend good warm gloves and a baclava or headsock with a good neck piece to keep the cold out. We did a total of 60+ miles. We chose to drive separately in our personal vehicle because it is nearly a 100 mile drive from Driggs to the West entrance of Yellowstone. I highly recommend the Teton Valley Adventure group if you are looking for a great outdoor experience.

My husband, son, and I did the full day tour to Mesa Falls. Sam was our guide and he was amazing. He was patient with us as first time snowmobilers, and very encouraging to me when I expressed my nervousness. His safety lesson was thorough, his directions clear, and we never felt unsafe. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions during the drive to the site.
We had a chance to experience trails as well as some time for wide open space to "play". The scenery was stunning. The falls is a once in a lifetime view.
My son did say that as a passenger it was a little rough at times, so do be prepared for that.
I recommend this company for any snowmobiling tour or rental as they were professional and friendly.
Legitimately, Sam is the best

Mesa Falls tour was about 80 total miles. Great scenery and a fantastic variety of trails. Guide was very accomodating and helpful. About an hour drive each way to trailhead. It's a long good day. The suits and boots keep you warm. I would not go if the group was 5-6 snowmobiles because the larger the group, the slower you go and the more stuff can happen. Kids loved it.

My son and I went on a guided trip with Matt to Mesa Falls and surrounding area. Took about an hour to get to the trailhead from Driggs. We had a wonderful time visiting the mesa falls and warm river, stopping for lunch along the way. Total time on the snow mobiles around 6 hrs. The trails needed some snow but matt was able to find some spots were we could push the pace.
I can highly recommend doing a trip with Teton Valley Adventures and Matt.

We snowmobiled the Big Hole mountains with Jeff and had an amazing time. Jeff was a wonderful guide and stopped us at amazing outlooks and gave us great information. We saw several moose and amazing views. He let us chose a few stops for pictures as well which was awesome. Thanks for the great time Jeff! Highly reccomend the snowmobile tour with Teton Adventures!

One of the best experiences my group and I ever had! Jeff our guide was amazing. He gave us the freedom to have fun but we never felt like we were in danger. And he was there whenever we got stuck and helped us get out without a fuss. I highly recommend this tour.

While our snowmobile trip was okay, we are not at all happy with the owner of this business. We went on several tours with different companies during our time in Idaho/Wyoming, and this is the only company we felt was disorganized and ill-prepared for the number of people they had on the tour. Due to a larger number of people on the tour (several more than they originally prepared for), our group received no safety instructions and very little instructions to the snowmobile itself. They were also not well-equipped for emergencies, which can easily happen when you are many miles away from civilization and cell service. The owner crossed through sections of the contract we previously signed without our knowledge or consent (and not in our presence) and claimed the form we signed was last year's form and no longer valid. We would not recommend this tour group to anyone unless the compnay changes their practices. If you do use them, make sure you insist on a copy of the contract you sign at the very beginning of the tour as the owner has no qualms of crossing out parts of the contract AFTER the fact. Keep all of your documentation and know that there are other snowmobile companies that spend time on safety instruction as well as have the necessary radios to contact their headquarters in case of emergencies. We would suggest Scenic Safaris in Jackson as a great option.

Did not enjoy this tour. Too many people on trip and guides were not helpful. Some of our group lagged far enough behind the guide, we could not see them, and they couldn’t see us - potentially dangerous situation.

Do not use this company. Instead pay the money to use Scenic Safaris in Jackson as they are a professional, reputable company. There were little to no safety instructions given for our trip other than how to turn the machine off and one and how the handwarmer works on handles. A large group showed up with more riders than they originally requested, and instead of denying them, the company rushed to provide more machines, causing us to have larger group with one guide who was brand new to guiding. In fact our safety “talk” as a group didn’t even happen because we were running behind due to the new size of our group. The contract we agreed to and initialed before our trip was not honored by the owner. While we did have an accident with our machine, the owner stated we owed the entire amount to fix the machine instead of the amount that we contractually signed BEFORE the trip. It took THREE email requests and THREE trips to their office before we finally received an electronic copy of our original contract. When we received the copy, the owner fraudulently crossed through the amount we agreed to for charges and claimed it was an old form which is why he had to cross through it. Well, people, it was NOT crossed through when we originally signed it, AND we did NOT initial the cross-out. There were four adults in our trip, and coincidentally, a family from our same town who can attest to this. We understand we are responsible for what we signed BEFORE the trip; we are NOT responsible for what the owner crossed out after the trip. The owner has been anything but professional and does not care that he committed contract fraud when he crossed out the agreement we initialed AFTER we asked to see the contract that he would not provide to us until our THIRD request for the document (and he never gave us a copy when we originally signed it the day of the trip). We took several tours during our time in Idaho and Wyoming. None were as unprofessional and dishonest like this company. We are seeking legal action against the owner’s fraudulent behavior.

On a lark, we stopped by Teton Valley Adventures' office in Driggs last Wednesday, 3/20. We had one more day in the area and wanted to check on a possible snowmobile tour for Thursday, 3/21. Travis was more than helpful in the office. Turns out there was availability for the next day with a guide and 2 others who had signed up previously. My husband, our 15-year-old son met at the office a little before 9. Travis helped us with our snowmobile suits and gear. Our guide, Hope, was just great. He hauled us and the snowmobiles about an hour north, outside of Yellowstone, where we parked and then started out. We probably went 70 miles total on mostly roads that were closed due to snow cover. Hope had a little trouble with his snowmobile but while we ate lunch, someone from the office brought him a new one, and we were off again. Saw the most beautiful scenery and Mesa Falls was a real treat. I highly recommend this tour. Hope was very laid back, easy to talk with. He gave us interesting highlights of the area.
