Fun time on the lake

We rented five kayaks. They were ready for us on the beach when we arrived and we were given good information about how and where we might want to go. Paul was great to work with. We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys being on the water and wants to explore the lake.

Impeccable Customer Service

My husband and I bought two kayaks recently from this shop. We really appreciated that although we had done a lot of research on kayaks, the owner patiently showed us additional pros & cons of some of the kayaks in our price range. We didn’t feel rushed. Afterwards, he was gone above & beyond to acquire a console for my Pungo during the Covid reduced supply chain.

This is the type of customer service we so appreciate!

Sliding over silken waters

Paul was very friendly in setting up the kayak date and accommodating to making time adjustments based on weather. Communication was prompt and easy. We were lucky to have his paddle-savvy wife, Stephanie, accompany us, which made us feel so much more comfortable as we are very new to kayaking. She was skilled at putting us at ease and making for a relaxed adventure. Clear, thorough instruction and an easy pace made for a most enjoyable experience. Also, we lucked out to have rare, ideal conditions - calm waters and almost no boat traffic. Kayaks were adjustable, sturdy and stable. We even got restaurant recommendations!

Paddle Perfection

Paul is a very intuitive, insightful guide who owns and operates Kayak CDA - Coeur d'Alene. He is quick to put people at ease and provide information about the best places to paddle out to, and what to look for. He was very thorough in explaining where we could go in the 2 hours we had. In the short preparation pep talk, he built confidence in this novice paddler, and I was certain of success, even though the wind was strong and the waves were choppy. I highly recommend Kayak CDA for your next kayaking adventure. I can't wait to return!

Paul also goes the extra mile to take photos of the experience.

Can wait to go back!

I had an excellent teacher, Chris, who taught me about the different types of boats, strokes, and laws of the surrounding area. I would say I was instructed, given the ability to practice what was taught, and encouraged to come again- and keep practicing. Totally recommend!

Great Experience off and on the Water

Made a reservation via the website just a few hours prior. Warmly welcomed at the shop, checked in and given perfect directions down to the launch area. Very friendly staff at the lake. Made recommendations on who should be using which kayak and gave us a nice push into the water.

Easy to navigate website for reservations and payment. Equipment well maintained. Great value for the price.

Great time!!

It took us a little time to find the drop off location - BUT after finding it, it was clear that it was BY FAR the best place on the lake to do some SUPing and Kayaking! Really had an amazing time and appreciated Paul and Mark's help!! Highly recommend!

Great Service!

My family and I booked a 2 hour slot. Chip and Ginger met us at the beach with all the equipment we needed. They also shared plenty of information and advice for our kayak route. We had a great time even though there was some smoke on the horizon and we could not see the whole lake. Overall, we were very satisfied and felt in we were in good hands with Chip and Ginger.

Overall fun and smooth experience!

This place is awesome! We checked in with Chip at the front desk and he was super friendly and helpful. I rented a stand up paddle board for 4 hours and the experience was really great and the rental process was smooth and easy. Chip gave us informative instructions on how to get down to the put-in location. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will come again. Thank you so so much for a friendly and relaxed experience!!

Fun Times

Paul was super responsive . I texted him and he replied very quickly. Paul gave me all the info we needed to book and how to get to the meeting spot on the river. He actually sent me a little video of how to get there and where to park. Once there Paul set us up with life jackets, told us a great little route then had us out and on the water.
We rented them for a hal day which gave us time to paddle and then just relax on the water. Some areas were so peaceful with only nature around. We paddled over by the CDA resort then along the beach. So fun.
