I live in the Coeur d'Alene area, heard about the "Foodie" segway tour that TourCDA offers, and I couldn't resist! It met and exceeded my expectations! My two biggest "concerns" were that I have never been on a segway in my life, (and I'm not young!), and safety. (Cars, obstacles, etc...) I am so glad they didn't stop me from signing up, because they were a non issue. I felt comfortable on the segway literally minutes into our lesson before we left for the tour. By the end it felt nearly felt as natural as walking! SO much easier than I had imagined in my head. Gary was our tour guide, and he was very cautious, kept us together, and watched out for traffic and everything else along the way. I always felt safe. Plus Heidi followed along behind the whole group the entire way also, so there was no reason for worry. We made five "food stops" on the tour, and each one was amazing! The restaurants were ready for us when we arrived, and all of the food was delicious. I never felt rushed, and the conversation while we ate was wonderful. The last stop at CDA Cider where we chose four ciders for our personal "flight" was a blast! We wore earpieces, and Gary gave us some fun CDA facts along the tour and pointed out things of interest. I thought it would be fun, and it WAS. But it was so much more than that! An epic adventure, on a fun (and new to me) machine, with food, beautiful scenery., and nice people. How could anything be better than that? And I plan to do it again. Don't miss it!
