AN IDAHO TRADITION Capturing the Unique Character of Every Vintage... Our goal at Ste. Chapelle is to capture the unique character of every vintage. Fine wine production in Idaho began in the 1860s, spurred by French and German immigrants. Indeed, the Pacific Northwest’s first wineries were in Idaho. In 1919, Prohibition shut down the state’s nationally renowned wine industry, but it was revived in the 1970s when wine grapes were again planted in southern Idaho’s Snake River Valley. The winery, founded in 1976, is open seven days a week. Experience the quality of Ste. Chapelle wines through wine tasting. For a $5 fee, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through a tasting of five wines. Tasting fee waived for our Friends of the Vineyard wine club members. Experience the Excitement of the Grape Crush... During fall harvest, visitors can experience the excitement of the grape crush in full swing. At other times, guides take guests through the cellars for an up-close tour of the processes of fermentation, aging and bottling. Beautiful, Elegant Facility & Award Winning Wines... Ste Chapelle Winery is a collage of fun, knowledgeable staff, award-winning wines and a beautiful, elegant facility. Our facility hosts weddings, corporate events, auctions, parties and meetings. Private Events - for additional information please complete our short "Request for More Event Information form" on our website, or contact our Hospitality Coordinator. The Ste. Chapelle Winery is the perfect getaway to host a memorable affair! Tours by appointment only, please call to make arrangements.

This is one of our favorite wineries. Not only is it a beautiful place for weddings, but also a great place to get away to on the weekends. With 9 other wineries close by you can make it a day full of wonderful local wines. Ste. Chapelle even has live music and other fun activities to join in with. You... More

This is a beautiful place that over looks the valley and it has great wines. You have to pay for samples but worth it. They also have events that are open to the public with music. It is a great place.

We went on a Monday in November. The tasting room was open and we were the ONLY customers there. My mother grew up in the Pacific Northwest and loves anything with Huckleberries in it. A friend said that Ste. Chapelle Huckleberry wine was available in a local grocery store, but we decided to have a drive and search out the... More

Wine tasting was wonderful to the point where I felt it. But my husband always says I am a cheap date. The servers were very helpful and friendly when we were making our bottled purchases. Loved having the opportunity to taste 5 wines for $5.00. We ended up buying 6 bottles it was that good. The winery has a nice... More

Nice tasting room, friendly service, great wines to try and a great way to spend an afternoon. Fell in love with their cab (the chateau series) that I shipped a case home for the upcoming holidays!

The wine country of Western Idaho took us by surprise, and the Ste Chapelle Winery was one of the most pleasant surprises among them. Their tastings led us to buy several bottles we plan to share with friends. A strong recommendation that visitors to the area plan to spend some time exploring the wineries, and try something new!

This is a vineyard we stumbled across while at a restaurant last year. Visiting family in the Caldwell area, we made it a priority to visit. For $5 each, we got a lovely souvenir wine glass and sampled 5 wines. The view was worth the drive and the wine delicious. We had to wait a bit, but that is the... More

Ste. Chapelle has a nice tasting room with flights for purchase. Their wines are pleasant - probably the whites are their best and their award winning offerings. Upstairs is a large reception area with a gorgeous view of the Snake River and area. Many unusual and useful wine gifts are available for purchase. We love to come to the outdoor... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours at Ste Chapelle today. The winery has a wonderful hilltop view of the surrounding Western Idaho countryside. That view is enhanced by outdoor seating. They can support large groups coming up for wine tasting as well as couples. I found the wine comparable to Colorado's and Washington's.... More
