We took a drive out to Huston Vineyards this past Sunday, and as always, we had a great time. We really enjoyed the great conversations we had with both Andy and Kristen, and as always we were made to feel like family. We always enjoy the tastings du jour, and enjoyed a bottle of Huston's incredible Reserve Red outside on the patio. We also met a great couple in the tasting room who have been members at Houston since its beginnings. We met again with them out on the patio and enjoyed hearing how they experienced the growth of Huston Vineyards over the years. They said it was and is "ALWAYS AWESOME"! We agree!!! Thanks to our Huston Vineyard Family....

The team at Huston Vineyards (third largest producer of wine in Idaho) was fantastic! Huston Vineyards is family owned and operated. The winery is a labor of love for the owners and their adult children, and it shows. They are happy to talk about their wines and how they're made, or I also saw groups who just wanted to hang out together and taste the wines without interacting with the hosts. Huston also has space for events ranging from business meetings, non-profit events, to weddings. They also host farm-to-table dinners. Huston is in a rural setting. You'll see the fields of vines, farmland, and mountains in the distance. Huston produces award winning wines that are delicious! Try their 2023 Rose of Grenache, the 2021 Malbec, the 2020 Syrah, and Huston's 2023 Chicken Dinner White and 2022 Chicken Dinner Rose. Huston Vineyards is growing. They have a soon-to-be completed building that includes a tasting room, lab, and winery operations. If you're visiting the Boise/Meridian/Nampa/Caldwell area it's well worth your time to visit Huston Vineyards.

We recently attended the Basque Sunset Dinner at Huston Vineyards. This was another of many awesome events my wife, our friends, and I have experienced there. The event was incredible, highlighting cultural Basque foods, a wonderful Basque dance troop performance, and of course perfect wine parings with Huston's award winning wines. We visit the vineyard often and always enjoy the warm greetings of the owners and their very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and of course their great wines. This is an incredible, five star winery. If you love excellent wine and good times, whether you're a local or just touring the Snake River Wine Country in beautiful South West Idaho, don't miss Huston Vineyards.

I was in the area trying to get away from the thick smoke in Boise by myself. I had gone to other wineries in the area and they told me to go here. I got there a bit late in the day. There was no one else there and a staff member was sitting outside. I ordered a glass of the rose and sat under their tent. The glass of wine was good. They had decent music playing. They have bathrooms in another building. However, there is no inside part from what I could see. I had a pleasant chat with the employee when I paid for my glass. I would like to come back and do more of a tasting if back in the area.

We spent a lovely time at the winery with out-of-state friends. We were greeted by name as we had a reservation which was easy to arrange on line. The server was personable and knowledgeable. She arranged for us to taste items not on the current tasting menu. Our guests were sufficiently impressed to buy wine to ship home. We will be back soon and will look into a wine club membership.
