Crazy drive up, super views. I have been here in the winter to ski for Junior Olympics many years ago and it was a delightful family day area. This trip it was just to look at the view of the area. It's is beautiful! Careful driving it has lots of turns!

Great place to run up to get a quick fix for some skiing. Snow conditions are variable, ranging from fair to good unless we are blessed with a rare heavy snow pack year.

Bogus Basin has several things to offer. Skiing I the winter, hiking and mountain biking trails. It is a very windy road from bottom to top at 6400 feet. This photo was taken from the 2nd road over looking the Boise foot hills. The winter of 2015.

The staff's or volunteer's help when my children needed help was priceless for a parent. Knowing a person there went out of their way to make sure my kids were safe and helped them get where they needed to be when they weren't proficient skiers helped them have more fun and was such a relief to me sending them to... I usually snowboard in Utah. Was in Boise and thought I would try Bogus. Lowest price I have ever spent on lift tickets and loved not dealing with crowds. The drive up to the mountain was nerve-wracking for me as it is a curvy, mountain road. But worth it.

Just a short drive from the valley. Winter, spring, summer and fall fun. From Sking, hiking to mountain biking. There is all year fun up here.

Drove up from the city to see the views. I was NOT disappointed. Can't wait to come back to ski and see how the mountain spoils us.

Bogus is a skiers' haven! If you're prone to motion sickness, the winding, long road to the top is daunting for those who have this issue. The only way I can be @ Bogus is if I drive; otherwise I'm green. Enjoy Alpine or Nordic skiing with many trails for all skier abilities. When Boise has air inversions, if we're... More

I'm a season pass holder. LOVE this place, hate the drive up I get car sick, I eat crackers to get me up the hill. I will never get used to having a ski hill in my backyard, great terrain, and really good facilities. Great family fun xc, downhill, tube hill snow shoe there is something for every ability and... Stop the whining about the increase in prices! It's still a bargain. So I bought a family season pass, for all five of us, for less than the price of one adult season pass when we lived in Utah... thank you Bogus! And the terrain is incredible! For those of you that think it's small or too easy, get off... More
