30 minute drive from Boise. Stop at the store on Bogus Basin road for passes, faster than window at Lodge. Can then ski in, out from upper lots, if you have your gear. Short lift lines on Christmas Eve, most days. Backside has the best...More

The sling was good and the food offering was average, but we’ve skied in several countries and lots of resorts and Bogus Basin stands out for having the friendliest staff consistently through all the mountain.

A cold 26 degree winter's morning at Bogus Basin in Boise, Idaho. A fresh blanket of snow, overcast skies with a bit of fog in the mountains, makes this a nice winter's scene.

Louis, thank you very much for your response. Winter is on its way! Idaho always looks nicer with a white blanket of snow. Can't wait to see you up here more this winter season.

I ski all over and I love small ski areas. Bogus is a great family ski area with fun runs for the whole family. Families bring their own food and no body gives you any trouble.More

Thank you very much for your review. Our favorite hike is up to Shafer Butte! Especially with clear bluebird days, you're able to see so many mountain tops looking in a 360-degree view. It's breathtaking. We hope to see you up here again soon!

I drove, but it is a very curvy, winding road all the way up. I can't see anyone driving it over the speed limit, especially with snow conditions.
