As we continue to explore the Boise area (having just moved here last month), we loved this beautiful place right next to downtown. We especially liked the ponds with lilies as well as the vibrantly colored wildflowers along many of the paths. We also loved the ducks, frogs, fish, dragonflies, etc. There were plenty of trails and benches from which to ponder the many beauties of nature. Calming sounds of a fountain bring peaceful thoughts and help mask traffic noises. It's a place that I'm sure we'll visit again.

Great walk and very relaxing park. A ton to see. Everything seemed very clean and it seemed that everyone that we saw were having a very enjoyable time. It was almost as if the parks joined but we didn't mind, either that or we just enjoyed it so much we walked into other places and parks. Enjoy the great outdoors.

Kathryn Albertson Park is a beautifully maintained park to have a picnic, take photos, or just take your dog for a nice little walk on a sunny day. Gazebos and ponds, pathways and nature. My niece wanted to have her graduation photos taken with snow in the background, and there was a nice blanket of it in the park. The pathways were cleared, so it made it easy to get around while we scouted out places to take pictures.

If you drive by for sure park and walk through the park area. The paths are so short so it will only take 10 minutes or so. They where building a new extension on the back left corner that looks nice = partially overlooking a small pond.

This is one of my favorite city parks. It's not really large but has trails that wind around ponds filled with ducks and groves of trees. I really like the covered gathering area that has a giant ponderosa tree stump. It's not like being out on a wildlife refuge but is nice for nature watching within the city.

Topped off our hot day of tours with a stroll through this park. Stunning! Peaceful and relaxing. A park to observe wildlife, bridges over ponds to stay cool, and landscaped to provide small park spaces within a large park. No picnic tables or picnic shelters...but those facilities can be found at the park across the street - which was much more active/populated. Nice restrooms available.

This is a great place all year round, especially in the fall with all the fall colors. Nice paths to walk around the lake and lots of birds to view. Highly recommend for a nice romantic walk with a loved one!

This park is very densely vegetated. Best not to go alone, as it can kind of make you feel secluded to a fault. However, it is one of the most loved parks in Boise, and it hosts a multitude of wildlife. Just saw a deer and her fawn out front the other day! Well worth the walk, all the way around it!

This is a very nice natural park to walk around. I always see animals in their natural setting. This is a great place in the city to just be still and listen. Very relaxing every time I go there. I just need to do this more often.

Katherine Albertson Park is a great park to enjoy with the family. The walk around the park is roughly 2 miles including the inside and outside loops. While on the walk we saw geese, ducks, turtles and lots of other birds. Once there we saw deer and a beaver visiting the park also.

Katherine Albertson park is a jewel in Boise and a must do for the family.
