Great place to live

Historic homes and friendly neighbors. Love walking the neighborhood and stopping by local restaurants, shops and great parks tucked away. We love the historic architecture.

You have to drive through the North End of Boise. When they talk real estate, it is always "location, location, location". The North End is full of older, more stately homes that for the most part have been lovingly taken care of. 11th Street has a quaint little shopping area where one can sit, enjoy a cup of java, or... I have lived in the North End of Boise for decades, the wonderful houses, street after street, old fashioned dirt alleys behind the houses. Little houses, big houses, most with very small yards, problem here and there is that the houses are so very close to each other that one could hear music from the house next door when you... More

Old historical homes line this boulevard street - Harrison. Easy to bike ride or walk down this and surrounding streets to get a feel for the area. It is also close to Camel Back park.

The North End in Boise has a great mix of homes--large, small, various architectures, easy access to the Boise Foothills, walking distance to downtown Boise (shopping, restaurants, Saturday Farmer's Markets), and Bogus Basin for skiing. In the middle of the North End is Hyde Park, with great shopping and restaurants. Camel's Back Park has a great open grass area, a... More

Some of the oldest homes and neighborhoods in Boise. 13th Street and Hyde Park are serious attractions. Great shops and food places. Best to walk through the area. Narrow streets in places.

Boise's North end is filled with tree lined street and tons of charming little houses. The best time to come down really is in the fall when the trees are changing color it's really beautiful and you can walk right over to Hyde Park grab a coffee and just enjoy the outdoors while people watching.

It is just a neighborhood. Lots of OLD houses that are not kept very nice. I'm sure that the people who live there love it...but it is extremely over priced...I don't get it.

Nice boulevards, eclectic homes, Hyde Park, Camels Back Park...young families, retirees walking their dogs, something for everyone.

I love North End. Beautiful tree lined streets. Old historical houses. Happy families riding bikes and playing outside. Wonderful local shops and restaurants. If I were to move to Boise, I would move there.
