Beautiful golf course. We walked the course which is a challenge. What I didn’t like was the smelly gas powered old golf carts that the other golfers used. For as much as they charge to play you would think they’d have nice electric golf carts like all the other courses.

Great play to play. Bronson is awesome for lessons and remembers you each time you come to play. Course is always maintained well. Front nine gives some great vies of the valley while the back nine is a tree challenge.

Jtudbury is a much better golfer than I am, but I love this course. He hit the nail on the head with his description of the course: beautiful, scenic setting, very well cared for and caters to all abilities. Both front and back have a great mix of hills and mature trees, which is what I love about it. As far as the front being left to right biased, I don't see it. There are many places where you can get yourself into trouble on all 18, but that just means you need to slow your swing down and play a little smarter, or pay the price. As far as tee times go, with a little forethought, I've never had a problem getting one as it seems others can attest to. In this area there are many easy courses to hit "comfortable drives", but there is only a handful of courses that are as dynamic and scenic as Shadow Valley. Anyone carrying a sub-10 handicap should have no problem here. Some people just need to complain, even if they have to really reach for reasons. For everyone else, have fun and enjoy the game.

This is a nice course and well maintained. It was a fun course to play, somewhat hard.
The only thing not up to par I found was the golf carts were pretty dirty. Seats & windshields were dirty and dusty. Would play here again.

Good tough course. Not super long... even the average hitter can play from the tips... but you need radar mid-irons to hit the greens. Many years ago the staff was run by a lady who apparently gained her experience as a drill sergeant. The new staff is excellent... friendly and helpful.

Course was in great shape. I really enjoyed the widely varied hole types. Looking forward to going back soon before it gets too cold

Fantastic golf course. First time playing, challenging and fun. Elevations in the front, trees and narrower fairways in the back. And don't forget the trees. Simon is the perfect employee to greet you. Professional and engaging, quick to get you set up and on your round. Restaurant was excellent, don't remember the waitress but she was great. The cook who made the burger was also great. Returning to play in the next 2 weeks.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Don't think that means it's an easy course because it's not. But it is really pretty, has a variety of holes with everything from flat, to elevated tees, a variety of hazards and it's pretty on top of that. Rates are quite reasonable and the staff is friendly. What's not to like?

This is one of the best courses in the area -- beautiful views, challenging for everyone and a lot of fun. The landscaping is lovely, the course is well maintained and it's an all around pleasant experience.
