The zoo has many interactive options available to kids, but they are only available for an hour a day so check online if interested. Small, simple zoo and great for kiddos.

To their credit the Boise Zoo is doing a great deal of renovation. Unfortunately for guests that means that animals are in temporary quarters, the grounds are a mess, sightlines are poor for some exhibits, and the general feeling is of urban blight/renewal on an...More

We had time to spare and found this zoo perfect for us. Yes, they are adding on and expanding but we saw almost all the animals in other encounters. It was 2 1/2 hours well spent and very enjoyable. Thank you Boise for sharing.

The Boise zoo is a nice, well kept zoo. Although small it has several kid friendly interactive areas. It's geared more towards elementary aged children and younger. You can pay an additional fee to feed the giraffes, which my children LOVED! Check their website for...More
