Boise has several downtown parks that really open up the city and offer pedestrian friendly sites to walk, picnic or enjoy the river. This park has easy access to the university and several apartments, condos and travelers.

When in Boise recently went to the park to get away for a little while and the walking paths are very nice with plenty of shade and places to sit. Quiet and the geese were very friendly. Will definitely be back when in town again.

This is one of our favorite spots to have family get togethers. The park is spacious with mature trees and plenty of picnic tables. The Greenbelt runs through it, with the Boise River running alongside. It is in the center of everything fun! Zoo Boise, The Discovery Center, the paddleboats and more! Worth a visit!

We rented the boat for 1/2 hr, which was plenty of time. The area to float in isn't large, but adequate. The grounds are beautiful. Well worth the money.

The Greenbelt trail goes right along the park and the park has tons of open space for your enjoyment.

This is a great park in the center of Boise. Many picnic tables are available for the afternoon lunch with the family. There are also pedal boats available to rent for a tour around the park.

I love this park it is beautiful and big. They have a zoo, peddle boats, right next to the River and Boise University. The grounds are immaculate and the rose garden was so peaceful and serene. I highly recommend this place to go visit for a picnic, bike riding, walking, running, Kayaking etc.

Beautiful park with nearby plentiful parking in the shade. We found very few people so had a relaxing quiet conversation with family at a convenient picnic table.
