This is a hands-on science center for the young and old. There are plenty of science gadgets to keep the kids thrilled, and remind parents of the things they learned centuries ago. Ample parking. This science center abuts the Julia Davis Park and is about a block from the Boise City Zoo. The staff is helpful and friendly and constantly... More

Having visited multiple times throughout our kids growing years, there was always something to engage them here. We usually spend an hour or two on our visit. There are occasionally special exhibits. The parking is a little tight, but we've never had a problem finding a space. You can also head into the Green Belt or Julia Davis Park from... More

Parking is free and a surface lot (couldn't find info on that on the website). The center is very small and kids went through it in about 1-2 hours but it was great! We were visiting with a ASTC membership so it was free for us but I wouldn't have felt disappointed if we paid full price. Staff was great... More

We were there for a High School Competition and our High School students loved the Discovery Center. They all tried the interactive displays. Our adult coaches and teachers were intrigued too.

Visited on a rainy Saturday morning from SLC, and was really impressed by the number of different activities for my 5 yr old daughter. We were there for about 2 hours and still hadn't tried everything there was to do. A variety of activities allow kids of different ages to engage and make science fun. Definitely worth a visit! If... Visiting family in Boise - they really wanted to take my kids here. It was their first time too. We were all a bit disappointed to say the least. Exhibits were not spaced out well, crowded areas left my daughter frustrated. Many of the exhibits did not work or performed poorly - which also made kids frustrated. For what we... More
