A visit to The Flicks is always such a treat! They feature "artsy" award-winning films from different countries, in different languages. I would be safe just showing up and buying a ticket to whatever they're showing. The little restaurant has wonderful food and wine, and...More

My favorite movie theater in Boise. Locally owned. Offers food and beer/wine that you can take into the theater. Wow! Runs films that are not usually in the chain theaters too. Great patio to hang out and eat. Plus the prices are good.

Great off the track movies, good concession stand (popcorn with real butter), good cafe. Excellent parking but can get crowded. Plan your time wisely due to line at the door getting in. Senior and matinee price breaks.

The Flicks continues to be the go-to location for intellectual movies and movies that aren't for the 'masses'. Keep up the great work!

Intimate with a lot of interesting alternatives in titles. Small theaters are cozy and the pop corn is always fresh!

The Flicks is a small theater but totally enjoyable! If you want, you can even buy a glass of wine to drink while enjoying one of a few choices of movies. It is located downtown and close to Boise's wonderful 8th Street which is full...More
