Our brewery currently runs a 15-barrel brewing system and offers four year-round beers: Payette Pale Ale, Outlaw IPA, Mutton Buster Brown Ale and North Fork Lager. In 2012, we made Idaho brewing history when we introduced Payette Pale Ale and Mutton Buster in cans. Be on the lookout for even more choices of canned beer in the future. In the meantime, you can find our beer in bars, restaurants, and retail locations including grocery and specialty stores throughout Idaho. We chose the name Payette because it fits the way we live and work. Francois Payette was a French Canadian trapper whose name and memory is enshrined among numerous Idaho landmarks. The name has since become synonymous with an adventurous spirit that pervades Idaho's year-round outdoor lifestyle.

Older one of the breweries in Boise

An earlier brewery in Boise well known for its beers. Either visit the newer tap room or the older one off Chinden Blvd nearly across from the Riverside Hotel.

In March, we attended the year-end party for the League of Outlaws. Payette Brewing hosted the party and provided the beer. The Sunday Brunch catering was provided by B-Town Bistro. Their brunch buffet blew away almost any restaurant I can recall! The buffet line had scrambled eggs with fresh veggies, maple bacon, sausage, Eggs Benedict, sliced fingerling potatoes with red... We love Payette! The beer is excellent and the service is great. The kind of place you can go to after work for a quick beer or meet up with friends for a Friday night out.

I'm a beer snob and I'm picky about what I like. Payette has some great selections that I was impressed with. The Payette Forward IPA, so good! I can't figure out why they don't b have that one available in stores! Slaughterhouse red ale is also fantastic. As well as the stout. Those are my 3 favorites and I'll be... More

This is a nice place, but only if you really like beer. There is no good options for drink or eat. They have nice local products, such as dog treats, soy candles, glasses and other Payette brand products. If you are a beer taster, as for the samplers tap

The beers are always choice, here at Payette. However the brewtenders are always tops as well. Very friendly and will offer insight and guide you through the tasting process. This was my second time and I had a blast. The Slaughterhouse Imperial Red Ale was a mindblower.

Thanks to the weekly e-mail from Boise Beer Buddies, I learned about this great beer-and-food-pairing event. Payette Brewing worked with 4 restaurants to provide an 8-course dinner, with each course paired with one of Payette's terrific brews. The 4 restaurants were: * Bittercreek Alehouse * The Local * The Matador * Saint Lawrence Gridiron See the attached photo for the... More

One of my goals on a recent trip to Boise was to get to Payette Brewing. I had enjoyed a few of heir beers at pubs in Portland and wanted to get to the source. I was not disappointed. The beers were great (the Mutton Buster and Payette Pale were good choices) and the service was friendly. While there is... More

Dog friendly. Cute brewery + tap room. Offer tours of the facility. No food, but you are welcome to bring your own food in. Also a great place to enjoy a board or card game among friends while trying out the libations.

In a recent e-mail update from Boise Beer Buddies, I saw that Payette Brewing Company offers tours of the brewery on certain dates. We arrived on a Thursday around 5:30. We bought Pistolero Porter beers and waited for the tour to start. The beer was great! We had a tour guide named Jamey. We were the only ones on the... More
