This is absolutely the best nature walk or bike ride you can enjoy in the heart of our great City of Boise. We are so lucky to live on one mile from the Greenbelt so I can walk or ride my bike to get on it. Nice!

The green belt makes getting around Boise so easy. From my front door I can hope on the green belt and be anywhere near the river in 30 minutes. All the best of Boise with a short bike trip.

Best single feature in the Boise Valley. You can ride or walk for miles and most often see something new every time.

25+ miles of asphalt trail along the Boise River just can't be beat. Great for running, biking, roller blading, or just a casual walk. Such a diversity of scenery as the trail moves from downtown Boise up and down the river.

I came to Boise for a symposium with no idea whatsoever of all the natural beauty. The greenbelt quickly became my go-to during every free moment, morning to evening and never a bad experience. Lots of people walking their dogs or enjoying different sports, e.g. running, biking, kayaking, even surfing! Area was exceptionally clean and well-kept. Always felt safe, even... More

The Boise River Greenbelt, a pathway that runs the length of the river through town and beyond, for ~25 miles on both sides of the river, has been described as saving the city, focusing it on a great natural resource and away from pipe dreams of a mega-shopping center in town. Bikers, walkers, water enthusiasts and others now go where... More

Our first visit to Boise was made even more enjoyable by a summer afternoon stroll along the river. We shared the space with other walkers, bike riders, and families with kids in strollers. Even though it was a weekend, there was still plenty of room for everyone and we didn't feel crowded.
