Excellent & safe place to get out and enjoy nature, while getting some good, clean healthy exercise, family oriented, nice setting, fun bike riding, walks, or stroll with pals or loved ones, beautiful now in the early Fall with the surrounding parks and the trees turning into their striking autumn colors!

I love the green belt and for anyone that knows Boise that live here or are visiting, the green belt is a must. It provides such lengthy stretches of beautiful scenery. The changing of the colors on the leaves is beautiful too so why not take an hour out of your day and enjoy some fresh air!

The wife and I enjoyed a walk along the river. The area was being enjoyed by walkers, and cyclist. At one spot on the river a group of kayakers were enjoying the river

Hubby and I did 45 miles on the greenbelt... and enjoyed it all. Very interesting as well as beautiful. Along the river on one side and past parks, city, offices, residential, past the university and up to Lucky Peak Resevior. A pretty level ride, which let us 68 and 71 year olds thoroughy enjoy our ride.

Walked for Veterans Park to the Fairview Bridge and back. Witnessed the growth along this section of the greeen belt and the expansion taking place at the Ester Simplot Park. Boise is fortunate to have so many beautiful parks all located along the river and the green belt. I never tire of the beauty of this open space. Paul Foster

Boise's Greenbelt has a reputation nationally. I have been in Arizona and in Montana on separate trips and heard people bragging about what great place Boise is. Then in both instances the Greenbelt came up as a great attraction with it clean walkway for bicycling and enjoying the great outdoors.
