Angela, the tour guide & owner was knowledgeable about the city and the unique food trends going on in Boise. She has her finger on the pulse of the city.

She has a very good relationship with all the restaurants so you feel like a special customer when you go in the place.

We loved the experience. So much good food we took leftovers home and ate another meal and re-experienced the tour a second time.

What a perfect 3 hours in Boise! This cultural culinary tour far exceeded my expectations! I'm guessing it will be hard to beat anywhere. Well paced. Seven culinary experiences plus education on other possibilities. Lots of Boise/Idaho education. Any question that was asked was greeted with an in depth interested answer. Evangel was an exceptional tour host. Delicious food. Loved the stories behind each establishment. I followed the rules and came hungry, however I was grateful for the bag given at the front end of the tour for doggy bags. I enjoyed tasty food the next day. This is my first culinary tour however it won't be my last. Thank you for a very special event!

DO NOT BOTHER! - We booked for two different services as we had some time in town. We showed up for our first scheduled tour and they were not there, they said it had been cancelled but there was at least three other couples that had showed up too and the owner was rude and disrespectful on the phone. Then when I requested a complete refund as it was 100% their fault as we have no plans to be in ID again, we were not given a 100% refund and the owner did not respond to my emails in a timely manner - NOT WORTH THE HASSLE! Even if I was ever going to be in ID again I would not book due to the awful customer service.

Four of us took this tour a few days ago. It far exceeded our expectations. My sister, a foodie and wonderful cook, who has taken food tours in many cities across the US, said this was one of the best. We experienced tastings from 8 locations - all delightful and delicious. The stops included Wild Root, Bacon, Guru Donuts, the Basque Market, Mai Thai, Chocolat Bar, to name some. The tastings were amazing and we all would visit these locations again. Two of our group were local, two from out of town. The tour impressed all; for out of towners, it is a great way to experience more restaurants than one could in a day by oneself. Highly recommend. Our guide Michael was delightful.

Had a wonderful day on the Indulge Boise Food Tour. Being somewhat of a picky eater I didn't have high hopes that I would try everything on the tour. I was wrong, I even tried duck and Thai food, 2 things I never thought I would try. They were both delicious! Everything we had was amazing and fresh. Michael, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly, he made the tour fun and informative about Boise's history. I would highly recommend this tour for out-of-towners or even locals that have never done it. My friends that live here were excited to try new restaurants they didn't know about and plan on going back to most of them.

Angela was informative, extremely passionate while still being relaxed which created a perfect atmosphere and environment for the tour. Loved learning about the history of Boise while supporting all local businesses! We found out personal start-up stories and lots of fun facts that we would have never found out on our own. There were plenty of DELICIOUS tastings to feel full by the end, but not stuffed. I would highly recommend the historic tour (with booze of course) to any resident or visitor. Looking forward to attending other tours :). Thank you!

Angela (the owner) lead on a wonderful 3 hour walking tour to 7 trendy restaurants in downtown Boise. Angelia was very organized and knowledgeable of not only food but the history and culture of Boise. She took time to point out to us the historic buildings stories regarding the original owners and about the businesses they built (between 1890's - 1920's). Lots has certainly changed since then.

Angela started the tour with a short orientation of what restaurants we were going to visit. She gave us a bag with a map and pamphlet with coupons for restaurants, hand sanitizer and a bottle of water. The size of group consisted of 13 people. Angela took many pictures of our group at each establishment that are placed on her Facebook page for us to view or copy.

All said I felt that I got more than my money's worth and this was so much fun! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy a special unique experience.

We ate at:
(1) Waffle Me Up for Belgian Waffles sprinkled with bacon/basil/maple syrup.
(2) Even Stevens ate the "Do Gouda Sandwich" with potato chips
(3) Olvin and sampled olive oil and balsamic vinegar taproom
(4) Guru donuts
(5) The Basque Market where we ate tapas
(6) The Mai Thai Restaurant we ate Asian fusion and Thai Food (3 types)
(7) The Chocolat Bar and sampled 3 types of chocolates

Note that we actually returned to some of our stops to buy stuff to take back home.

Bob was knowledgeable and fun. Our first visit was a small biscuit with toppings. Not bad. Our second was an olive oil store with small tastings with bread. Not fun. Third stop was bacon very good. Next stop two small pieces of a donut. Not very tasty. Seemed like the olive oil and donut shops were a commercial to sell their product. The chocolate store was nice but I felt I could walk in from the street and get the same samples for free. We paid extra for the alcohol with our food and were given three thimble sized drinks. For the price we paid it was unacceptable. We paid way too much for a small amount of food and drink. Won't make that mistake again. The photos that advertise this the food and drinks are enlarged. I feel ripped off. Oh well all in all a sad 38th anniversary present for my wife.

Hey Kenneth B, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, your experience is very different from the thousands of guests we have hosted on our tours who applaud the ample portions and hearty meal portion sizes that we provide on our tours. We, along with our tasting partners, have committed to offering more than just bite-sized tasting & sips and guests consistent speak to how much they appreciate the generous portions that we provide, which includes a full donut, cocktails that are larger than you alluded to, and an experience in an olive oil & balsamic taproom that oftentimes receives great feedback. While we are surprised at your disappointment, we appreciate the feedback & will continue to assess our tours, so that guests understand the tremendous value we offer. Thanks for taking a tour in celebration of your 38th anniversary. Congratulations on your anniversary!
