State Golf Course is very challenging, scenic and vey reasonable

Take in a game one day and go to the Okeefenokee Swamp Park the next. The park itself s minimal. Lake for boating.

Beautiful place to visit! The cabins are great for parties - and there's a playground for the kids around the cabins. There's a camp site also, which looks like fun - but I don't camp!! It's nice to get out in nature at this park!

The staff at this park were very helpful and pleasant. The only negative we had about the facility we rented is that it did not have a sink in the kitchen area. This was very inconvenient when preparing food.

This review is about my experience at the Lakes Golf Course at Laura S. Walker State Park. It's a nice course! Don't expect fast greens or perfectly manicured conditions. However, do expect a challenging, varied layout with a good mix of doglegs in both directions, water, as well as strategically placed bunkers and waste areas. What impressed me the most,... More

This is an inexpensive way to spend quality family time time... we took electronics but forgot them in the car. We took walks in the woods on Trails, see gator in the lake/pond by cabin. Lots of bugs but alot of fun...

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night just to get accustomed to our new travel trailer. We were greeted by the hostess Karen and was given a better spot than we had reserved. She checked in on us a couple of time over the weekend. Large camping spots for rv trailers or tents. All close to full restrooms with clean... More

There is a playground, boat ramp, shelters for rent, camp ground. We have had picnics here, and got engaged on the dock. We took family pictures on the new boardwalk. This is a nice place to just get away for the day for a little quiet time. There are also new "camper cabins". We have not been inside, but the... More

We just stopped by for a short visit to ride our bikes and walk around. Bike riding on pavement is limited (we don't have bikes suitable for trails). Thereseem to be lots of off road biking vailable. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Lake is really pretty and serene when we were there.

This was a great place to camp. We originally were going to stay two nights, but enjoyed it so much that we stayed five. We had a site right on the lake that was level and beautiful. Park is very quiet and relaxing. You can walk, ride bikes, and explore lots of trails. The bathrooms were clean and showers were... More
