Amazing State Park

While you can drive and hike the many trails, the views are as vast as you can find anywhere in the U.S.

This was a wonderful step back in history. The property is beautiful and well kept. I learned a lot about the life of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Very interesting. Well worth the trip.

This state park has many activities, fishing, bicycling, hiking, playground, small boat rentals. The cabins are very nice and have everything you need.

hiking during the day and seeing the sites were wonderful. our biggest memory of our trip came during that night of our camping trip. Being away from the city lights, the sky were so very clear. We laid on our backs down by the lake to talk and star gaze. we were amazed and the number of falling stars that... More

Nice park, check in office staff were lazy and rude. Been here many times. Love the park the country store and RV sites. Really disappointed in the treatment in the check in office Maddy and the older lady with shoulder length hair were rude and lazy, to us and the people in front of us as well. We will go... More

The ranger-led walks and the scavenger hunt were great fun. We enjoyed star gazing at the amphitheater next to the the park office. We rented a paddle boat for 1 hour in the lake. The Liberty Bell Pool is a large, stone, clean, historic pool very family friendly with discounted rates during the week.

Large park with lots of picnic tables for a nice picnic. Camping would be a lot of fun with tent, camper, or one of the cabins.

Our first mistake was following our GPS directions to the park — which took us on the road behind the park — which has an entrance, but an unsigned entrance — so we drove right past the place. Also — the park offices are technically across the road from the park so campers check-in with a 40’ RV and a... More

We came to hike and geocache around the park. We found a lot of geocaches with great treasures in them. The trails are marked well and in good condition.
