We sailed on the Disney Dream Sept. 15-18, 2017 and it included a stop at Castaway Cay. What a paradise! Disney's island is like everything else Disney does - top notch! We were just two adults on the cruise. While on the island, we never...More

We stopped at Castaway Cay last week on our Disney cruise and had a great time. Things to do: If you are a runner, there is a 5k. I didn't do it, and probably should have, you will not find a flatter 5k! Although it...More

A very nice stop while cruising on the Disney Dream. My wife and I were a little skeptical because we didn't have any kids with us but Disney thinks of it all. They have a wonderful place to bring the kids and plenty of things...More

We visited Castaway Cay earlier this week. We had a great visit! Very nice beach, plenty of beach chairs, beautiful, clean, clear water, good BBQ, fun waterslide (must be a decent swimmer). My only negative here is that the sand was a little rocky. Not...More

We have been to Disney World numerous times and we always feel that Disney "magic" while at the Disney hotels, grounds, shops, and parks. We just didn't feel it on the island. The beaches were okay....but if you've visited the white sand beaches in the...More

I've read some of the reviews that were marked three or less and have some concerns with their expectations versus reality. The island is absolutely amazing. It is clean, organized, and has everything you could possibly need or want. My wife and I spent the...More

We have been to Castaway Cay in late January/early February. The water temperature is cool, but not so cold that you don't adjust to it and the air temperature is usually beautiful. I love it during this time because it is... More

Like any storm season, it will be hit and miss. Disney will steer clear of any major storms though. You can go to Accuweather and pull up a weather forecast for Castaway Cay for this coming November.

I bet if you ask your server on board the ship, he can have lactoce free ice cream waiting for you at the BBQ. For real. They accomodated my gluten intolerance very well. Not a problem at all.
