Plentiful lounge chairs and umbrellas. We rented a cabana but that was a waste of money for our group and I wouldn't do it again. I didn't realize that finding shade would be so easy on the beach. The lunch at Cookies was like a backyard bbq and adequate. Per usual, all the staff was fantastic. We loved the stingray... More

Beautiful, clean, amazing island. The snorkeling is a bit lacking, but the kids still loved finding the sunken Disney characters and other objects. White sandy beaches, buffet style restaurants (included in the cruise). Splash parks, water slides, bikes, and many other activities for kids or adults. Look forward to another visit in the future.

The kind of beach paradise you imagine in your dreams! Disney perfects the ideal private island retreat. This was my 10th time to the island and I finally got a cabana. The cabana is pricey but worth it, and extremely hard to get. It was everything that I had hoped. Once again the island was perfection which is why I... More

To be honest five stars is not enough to capture the magic of this place. We've been three times and it is by far and away our favorite port of call on a Disney cruise. If you have kids the main beach areas are great...and come complete with water features like an in ocean slide, snorkeling opportunities in a safe... More

Castaway Cay is a private Cay leased by Disney. It is only available to guests sailing on Disney Cruise Lines and because of that, the Cay has a very serene feel. DH and I sailed on the Dream and Castaway Cay was my favorite stop! We went to the adult beach (Serenity Bay?) and were the first people there. It... More

We exited the ship around 9:30 and walked instead of taking the tram to the beach. We were able to take pictures with Jack Sparrow, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy on the way. Nice little extra perk. We were able to find a spot for our stuff and my son and I took off to the big water slide. The line... More

On the surface Castaway Cay is idyllic - turquoise waters, sandy beaches, what's not to love? Unfortunately it's pretty much like a glorified theme park in the Bahamas - it actually feels very fake and like you are not really there. We headed to the adult only area to escape the crowds. Unfortunately the beach is restricted and whilst it... More

Disney sure knows how to do it. The island is beautiful, the BBQ was nice, the staff is great, and the drinks were very reasonable too. The beaches are so beautiful and clean and safe. The kids area if fun with the snorkeling and the water slide. The adult only beach is quiet and relaxing. They offer a free 5k... More

I have always wanted to go, but it was no big thing. The sting ray experience was very disappointing after doing it several times in Grand Cayman. These are captive rays. The parasailing was a great experience and lots of fun. The food was not good. We purchased a smoothie on an Olaf cup and it leaked half of it... More

I cannot wait to get this Disney Cruise over with in October. I have yet to step on the boat, and the Disney Cruise customer service representatives (CSR) (including management) are already charging unnecessary prices for simple, quick, inconvenient changes. How outrageous, and ridiculous to charge $50 to change a name on a reservation. I can see if the change... More
