All volunteer actors and back-stage folks work so hard to put on top-notch local small theater. It's a great little theater "downtown", inexpensive tickets, and just plain fun to attend. I live in Valdosta, so I have the opportunity to go to 'Dosta Playhouse often. I have never been disappointed in the plays that I have seen.

My husband and I have seen several performances here. We have never been disappointed in the acting! We drive from FL a few times a year specifically to see the plays and are rewarded with a well done show. To Kill a Mockingbird is still my favorite. Parking is available on the street and there are no meters. Ticket prices are very reasonable and if your budget is tight, this you can afford. There are also performances for children by The Gingerbread Players.…
