We stopped in after checking into our hotel and already grabbed maps in the lobby etc. all the lady in the visitor center was give us a map. Maybe she had a bad day.More

Very helpful start to your trip. If you want a bike or a golf cart grab those immediately. Head to the beach otherwise.

Very Island chic. Loved the man who helped us as he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice visitors center with a very relaxed vibe and boatloads of info!

They were very helpful and also gave us info about Savannah. Learning about the free bus system (DOT) in Savannah was a huge bonus.

Just pull into the parking lot beside the visitor center and come in and see us! We’re open 7 days a week from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Of course dogs are welcome on the island, just not on the Tybee beach. For beach play, you may kayak or take a trip on a charter boat to Little Tybee Island to enjoy dog-friendly time on this undeveloped island. Hunting for... More
