We got to see this lighthouse while on Captain Mike's dolphin tour. Loved hearing the history and stories behind it while they got us as close to it as they could on the boat.

The tide was in so we couldn't walk out to Cockspur, but I did get some good photos of it from the top level of Fort Pulaski

This lighthouse is how we judge the tide level when driving past it on the bridge going onto Tybee Island. At high tide there is no land around the lighthouse, and at low tide you can see land around it and could walk on it....More

This lighthouse isn't open for exploring but we did get close to it by boat. And there were dolphins on the journey.

The Cockspur Lighthouse isn't as pretty as the Tybee Beach one, but it's alright. It's out in the river and hard to see uless you find those few streets that go back toward the river.

We were wondering if we could take an electric golf cart (island owned and certified) to the light house? Are dogs allowed on leash on grounds?
