My hubby, in-laws and 3 kids walked the path behind Ft. Pulaski that leads to the Cockspur lighthouse. We heard that at low tide one could walk to the actual lighthouse, but the day we were there the tide was up a little. We did...More

We rented kayaks to paddle around and went right up to it at high tide. It was tricky getting into the lighthouse, waves smack the kayaks against the stairs. Wouldn't want to fall in the water or you'd get messed up with the sharp rocks/...More

We took a dolphin boat trip that rode right by this beautiful old lighthouse. I'm glad it's being restored, to preserve its beauty and history for future generations.

We went by this on a boat tour and I loved learning about it's history. It is certainly a sight to behold up close. Beautiful piece of history that I hope stands for hundreds of years to come.

Stopped by on a Captain Mike Dolphin cruise. I was more interested in seeing this than the dolphins.

We went on a sunset tour to see dolphins and the Cockspur Lighthouse was a great surprise! This lighthouse is so much fun to see from a boat! The history of the lighthouse is amazing!

Very interesting to see and hear the history of the lighthouse. It’s the shortest lighthouse in GA but very charming and very neat to see and learn about.

The Cockspur lighthouse is visible from hwy 80 on the south end of Tybee Island. It sits alone out in the water and is a nice landmark for mariners.
