A nice wide beach that gently slopes toward the ocean. The ocean floor is mostly flat and easy to navigate. You can go out quite a bit before it even begins to get deep. Great beach for kids. Not overly crowded, people are very friendly....More

We live off of the 10th Street boardwalk. Mid beach is a beautiful place to set your beach chairs down and watch the world go by! And a great place for a swim because you are not near most of the fishermen.

Families, locals, guests walking and swimming this great stretch of beach. Guarded by modern day lifeguards that make you feel welcome with a wave each time they pass by. Dolphins swimming right near you in the wake, great appreciation of this beautiful ocean..

There is no overnight sleeping or camping, but I don't believe there is a time limit preventing you from being on the beach. While swimming at 2AM may be a very good idea, I didn't see any signs prohibiting it.
