Be sure to do the dolphin tours, the captains make the tour so much fun and they are full of information. I can't just give advice on just one restaurant because they are all great! We stayed almost a week and ate at many places.

We had so much fun watching the fireworks at midnight New Year's Eve and participating in the "Polar Plunge" on New Year's Day. The beach is beautiful with clean sand and clean restrooms available.

We visited after the new year, and found a great rate on a hotel, lots of open restaurants, the breeze on the beach was warm, and there were no crowds. The beach has lovely swings just after the boardwalk through the dunes. We found an...More

The Tybee Island Beach received the cleanest beach and water award from Coastal Living a few years ago. You can see why when you visit. They do a really good job keeping this beach nice.
