Great place to get out and stretch your legs and look at beautiful roses! It’s near a lake and playground with picnic tables and restrooms so definitely family friendly. Nice gazebo for picture taking.

Six women, all friends for 35+ years, and a quaint little town with a big festival! Parade, live music, wonderful restaurants, fireworks, shopping, gorgeous roses…all in one place…Thomasville. We loved it!

The Rose Garden is definitely a must-see. It's a peaceful stroll to enjoy the topiaries when the roses aren't blooming, and it's awash with color and delicious scent when they are blooming. The garden is home to myriad varieties of roses. Whether you are a gardener, a rose enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates a quiet stroll amongst the flowers, the Rise Garden is a lovely and peaceful spot.

This should be higher on the list of things to do in Thomasville! The trail around the lake is just about 1 mile, surrounded by beautiful trees and picturesque rail bridges. I saw turtles, ducklings, birds, and friendly people of all ages. There are nice benches around the trail to relax and take in the scenery. The Rose Garden is just off the trail and was in great shape. There is a gorgeous gazebo and the largest magnolia trees I've ever seen. Just breathtaking!

We recently visited for pictures among the beautiful rose gardens. I was amazed at the selection of roses and the beauty of it all! My husband was snapping photos left and right while I was sniffing the blossoms!

Since was November very few roses left on bushes but we enjoyed walking around the area. Cherokee Lake was really nice with the 1 mile walk. A lot of people enjoying just walking around it. Area for picnic was nice as the play ground. Bathroom facilities available. We have been in bigger rose gardens but for the size of the town this is certainly a nice attraction.
