Nice layout, mediocre conditions

We played the lakemont course on a Friday afternoon. Some very nice hole, several mediocre ones. Greens were poor on several holes, very good on others. Crazy drive from ninth... read more

I thought the shape of the course was good, but I'm not sure it justified $55 and a $15 parking fee. It was challenging, but didn't seem to have a much character as the Lakemont course, based on what we could see. There were only two water dispensers on the course and one was empty. This was a pretty big... More

I played here years ago but do not really remember much from then. Just played here recently and I would say the course is in need of attention. Overall good layout and decently challenging. The people were very friendly and helpful. The greens were in terrible condition on the Lakemont course. Needed to be cut and rolled. A lot of... More

My two grandsons and I played the Lakemont course. We have been to many different golf courses and had high expectations for Lakemont coming into our round today. However we were disappointed by the condition of the first four or five holes, especially the greens. The greens were painted green and had random patches of tall grass. There also was... More

Nice tucked away place for a meal. The restaurant is part of the Stone Mountain Golf Course which is located within Stone Mountain Park. There is a parking fee for all cars that enter Stone Mountain Park unless you have a yearly pass. The staff is attentive and very accommodating. There is a pool table in the bar area which... More

Beautiful course. Stupid fee. You have to pay a $15.00 fee to get into the park to pay a round of golf. The entrance fee should be deducted from your round since the only thing you're using at the park is the golf course. I'll skip the round next time my buddy's suggest a round there. Too many other Atlanta... More

We played the lakemont course on a Friday afternoon. Some very nice hole, several mediocre ones. Greens were poor on several holes, very good on others. Crazy drive from ninth green to the tenth tee. Makes the course not walkable at all with the distance from nine to ten. Overall a fun afternoon. Beautiful carillon across the lake.

Two great golf courses along with practice range and putting green. The Mountainside course is a bit more challenging than Lakeside, both are enjoyable.

Playing only 6780 after jimmy pulled the plug on #2 and chopped down 13. Still a fair test when its swirling which is always.

You have to split into the 2 courses, therefore I will review separately. Mountain course: great fairways, great landscaping. Challenging holes. In some parts quite easy, so that you never loose a ball. Roughs are almost not there.
