Aldeia de Água Formosa is considered one of the oldest in the municipality of Vila de Rei.
A magical village with its stone houses. A good place to spend a holiday or a weekend in one of the houses. Most with names "Casa do Forno, Casa das Lajes, etc.
There's a bar where you can pee and a souvenir shop.
You can also make beautiful walks here.

This is a very small place with the particularity that almost all buildings are built in schist. Looking at it for sure it was a humble place from where most inhabitants left looking for better life conditions. Nowadays due to tourism most houses are for renting and they are very well kept but don’t expect to find a town with locals. Enjoy!

If you love old fashioned stone houses with amazing views situated in a peaceful and tranquil location in the Central Region of Portugal. A place which must be visited if you are passing through this gorgeous part of Portugal.

Just a boaring place. Nothing to do and very small. Within 15 minutes youve seen all. So a lot of time and a difficult road to see nothing special

This small village and its five inhabitants, is a treasure lost in central Portugal.
The Schist houses, the Galega stream through the village, the friendliness of its inhabitants, the highly organized rails, will make your visit a dream.
Try to stay in the village, enjoy the silence and relax without contact with the outside world.
