Misleading Services
Apr 2021
If I could rate a zero for this location, I seriously would. One day I came across this business and decided to grab a brochure. TRYING a salt cave with reflexology is definitely on my bucket list and felt this would be perfect. Today I called to schedule an appointment for myself and my 18 year old to experience together. A lady answered the phone which at first I thought was pleasant. However I noticed that she took my name and my son's name. Now when she asked for his phone number I indicated that it's the same as mine that was given a minute ago. She insisted that she needed me to repeat it. I just followed along and thought whatever you need ma'am just get through setting the appointment and move on. After gathering my information I mentioned if she would like to know which services I would like. She seemed a bit confused about my question. So I informed her that I'm aware of their services and would like to request Best Foot Forward. I then read the details of the services, which is in their brochure, (45 minute salt cave with 30 minute of reflexology). This is when she told me that they do not have anyone that can give reflexology. To my surprise,  as I expressed, looking at your brochure reflexology is 45 % of your business. She agreed. What she did next surprised me. Instead of asking if I would like a different service she proceeded to tell me that she was taking me off the appointment book. I immediately said no, don't do that I would do something else. I also asked why she was so quick to remove me. Why not offer something else like the massage? She then tells me that there wasn't any one available to do that either. She stated all they offer is the salt cave and that I should enjoy that. Ok, you don't have a massage therapist nor a reflexologist? This not with both of these services that's 75% of your business. I told the lady that I did not understand why they are offering services which are not available to select. Apparently, I must have appeared as the angry black woman that most people like to think of African Americans and had no right to ask such questions. So the lady hung up on me. Little did she know I was only 9 mins away from their location. So I decided to stop by and hopefully speak to the manager or owner. I walked in and the first question I asked was "who is the manager". The lady that sits on the left stated that she was. I looked at the lady on my right and said that I guess you are the one that hung up the phone on me. She, of course, denied it. I asked the owner if we could please step off the front lobby to speak quietly about the incident. She refused (told me that I am not going to tell her what to do)  as she would rather have the situation escalated by having the rude host/receptionist to make her argument. At that moment I knew exactly what I was dealing with. RACIST The demeanor they demonstrated was so unprofessional and immature. I knew exactly what they were trying to do and that was to find any reason to call the police for a hostile black consumer. I didn't even give her the pleasure. As I walked out I stated that "you are right, I can't tell you what to do. But your consumers can and if you are listed with the BBB they can too" Their website and brochure is misleading. After reading thoroughly over the brochure to make certain that I did not miss anything. No, there is nothing on the brochure or website that states they do not have a reflexologist or massage therapist in house or those appointments would have to be scheduled separately.

Hidden Gem

This place is a hidden gem!!! I don't know why there are so few reviews for this business when it is such and amazing place. I am an avid massage goer and this is has got to be one of the best massages I have ever gotten. I would not think twice about recommending anyone who is looking to do a massage. I tried their salt cave massage and it is well worth it!! If you live in Snellville or are visiting, this is definetly one place to visit.

Great escape to rest and relax all in the middle of Snellville. The Salt Cave is one of the most pristine and well made one's I have ever been in. I love the running water in the cave. The Massages and Yoga Classes are top notch. I did a Healing Touch Session here and it was truly life changing the pain and swelling caused by a sprained ankle were greatly reduced. Looking forward to going back.
