The most I can say is that my grand children always ask to go back for another visit although they have been there at least 4 times and even if we offer to go to Sherbrooke wich is not so far and we could find more places also worth visiting.

Mostly a showpiece for latest products of Bombardier Company including planes and trains with a section for the latest Snowmobiles. Not much about the man behind the machines that made this company what it is. Some older Ski Doos are behind lock doors and can be seen at a distance. Nothing about racing or water toys. Not worth paying to see a display of latest products.

Hi, actually the older Ski-Doo® snowmobiles can be seen from a closer look with our guided tours of the reserve. They are 20 minutes long and take place from Friday to Monday. The tour includes: •Behind-the-scenes access to the Museum •Learning about the importance of the conservation of objects of preserving the objects in our collection? •Discovering the “what” and the “why” of our collection Find out what is in the collection and why? •An up-close look at unique vehicles, some of which come from Joseph-Armand Bombardier industries Also, if you what to know more about Joseph-Armand Bombardier, you can visit his original garage. You will explore his life through the multimedia show Passion as a way of life.

I highly recommend this spot. Yes it is on its own as Valcourt does not have much else, other than the huge BRP plant. The interactive multimedia presentation in the original garage was worth the $12 entrance fee. The museum itself covers the snow machine and snowmobile history and then into the trains and airplanes. Only need about 1.5 hours here. Great spot. And highly recommend.

Great museum and self guided tour. Really enjoyed the displays and interactive parts especially the Skidoo part. However, when we went on the tour in the off-display vehicle room, the guide told us in perfect english that she would only do the tour in French. Considering there was only one French speaking person in the group of three, I found this to be very rude.
