About
This is the original, one of a kind, walking tour in Senoia, focusing on "The Walking Dead." This 2 mile walking tour starts in downtown Senoia, which was the location of Season 3’s Woodbury and travels all the way to Alexandria, where our gang of Survivors fight for their survival through Season 11. This means we cover locations from Season 3 to the present season, along with some great insider stories about tour guides that will draw you in and make you feel like you are reliving your favorite scenes right before your eyes! We pride ourselves on our accuracy, safety of our guests, and a focus on treading lightly on the quaint community which moves around us. Our tour stands head and shoulders above the rest if you are looking for the local perspective-we live it, you’ll love it!

We had a beautiful weather day and a good tour guide that managed to keep a two hour tour interesting. The guide provided good info and pictures that one could see where many scenes were filmed. The only thing I don’t like with this tour company is their no cancellation policy even in the event of bad weather. We lucked out with a great day but it would not have been enjoyable to do in the rain.

My son had asked to do this over a year ago as he and his younger brother have become fans of the show and the comic. They absolutely loved it. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and I enjoyed the information about how the town was converted from a set and back to the town so quickly.

Jimmy was our tour guide and he was awesome. We love a bargain, but on this tour it really paid to dish out the $50 for the two of us. Jimmy was a wealth of information. Exciting to see Woodbury, Alexandria and the commonwealth. Also, visit the WD museum and the gift shop at the end of the tour. Lovely couple. They were awesome! Lots of additional info and I came home with a skirt worn in the show. A must do if you’re in the area and a WD fan! And don’t forget to eat at Norm & Nic’s Place! Great food.

The people at this tour company were so polite when I bought $400 worth of tickets from them for the TWD finale weekend 11/20/2022, I had a great time on the TWD finale tour and at the viewing party!!! Which is why I gave them 2 stars they didn’t get the other 3 stars because I paid nearly $200 for TWD finale events such as TWD trivia that wasn’t show trivia it was stalker trivia about Andy Lincoln, I don’t know poop about Andy Lincoln or his dad… but I do know what episode name and number that Negan first said “people are a resource” they didn’t ask anything about the show… then the “shuttle” that was supposed to take us to the waterfall from TWD called Elders Mill for free, was supposed to run until 5pm and at 3pm when I asked where the shuttle was they said the driver went home. Then the “TWD fair”was absolutely not worth what they charged it was like 3 food trucks (that we had to pay out of pocket for) and a few cornhole boards. Needless to say the events were not as described, I politely made my points and asked for a refund, they took down my name and number, promised me a refund, never called me and when I tried to start a conversation about it on a post they had on Facebook someone else told me they had an issue very similar to mine and then they blocked me and the other gal on social media. What a scam, and terrible business!!!

Go with THE GEORGIA TOUR COMPANY!!! If you are a fan you should do this tour. Stand in the Woodbery "welcome gazebo". sit on the steps Judith did when she talked to Negan . See where Spencer died and everyone lived in Alexandria. Walk the tracks where so much happened. Negans back story house, where Merle died and Ezekiels stalls. Definitely go to the store/museum and the photo studio and pose with Abraham. The lady running this tour was the first and was there for everything. She has great stories and personal accounts. After the tour be sure to eat at Nic and Normans, on occasion you can catch them there. The Philly Steak fries were awesome.

We were in Georgia this past weekend for my cousin's birthday and we were sooooo bummed we missed a bus tour we signed up for so we went to the Walking Dead Cafe and I told the guy my story and he said oh well if you call this number I bet this walking tour will take you and it is pretty cool. It was around 2pm and he sad I think the las one is at 3 so they maybe be able to squeeze yall in. Georgia Mercantile went WAYYYYYY above and beyond our expectations! She let us go on a tour at 5pm bc we said we wanted to eat first and when we got on the tour, our tour guide Christina was so animated and she knew her TWD facts lol. She made the tour so fun and we even got honked at by Greg Nicotero on the train tracks to Terminus it was such an EPIC DAY!!!!! Just make sure to bring lots of water, wear comfy shoes and take lots of pics but it so amazing to be up close and personal to the actual sets and you maybe even lucky and be there the day they are actually FILMING! We can't wait to go back!

My husband and I took this tour with Dillian/ Daryl. I highly recommend this tour! Dillian was knowledgeable and made the tour fun. We learned a lot about TWD and movies. THE HIGHLIGHT WAS NORMAN REEDUS DRIVING BY ON HIS MOTORCYCLE. HE SLOWED DOWN AND SAID WHATS UP TO OUR GROUP!!! Very neat. The town is cute with shops and restaurants. We ate at Nic and Norman's. We both really enjoyed our meals and cocktails. Overall it was a 5+++ day in Senoia and with the Georgia Tour Company!!!

When we booked our tour, it was with a gentleman. When we showed up there was a lady there. She spoke very very low and repeatedly members of our group had to ask her to speak up and to repeat. She did not have all of her Walking Dead facts straight and gave misinformation a couple of times. We were so frustrated with not being able to hear her, that after only going through half of the tour, we left. I went back into the office to tell them exactly how bad of an experience it was. I was told the information would be passed on. I drove my family from Columbus Ohio to Atlanta in time to do this to her prior to the Walker Stalker Convention. I'm very disappointed that I was not given so much of an apology. I'm also disappointed that I spent $75 when I could have taken a walk myself in her just as much as I heard from the lady giving the tour. The fact that no one ever followed up with me regarding how about that tour was is probably the worst. That in itself makes me say do not waste your money. Apparently if you get a good tour guide it is good, but if you get a bad tour guide you're just out of luck

I am a die-hard fan and know the ins and outs of the show. One might call me obsessed. This tour is not for the "expert" Walking Dead fan. I figure, if you are going to Senoia, GA to experience TWD, you already know Woodbury and Alexandria are across the street from each other - this should not be news to you, yet this is pretty much the highlight of the tour. The tour is very little "fun facts" about the town, and more just common knowledge that any normal fan would know. Our tour guide pretty much summarized the show from Episode 1. We bowed out early. I did not want to waste 2+ hours listening to stuff I already knew. The tour guide asked if anyone had ready the comics to the current issue – I have. He was looking to me for validation when talking about the comic vs. the TV show. The really unfortunate part was, as we stayed in Senoia and were able to talk to the locals, it turns out a lot of the stories the tour guides tell aren’t true or extremely exaggerated. If you have watched past Season 3 and know a little bit about the show, I would not recommend this tour. Do a little research and just do it yourself. It is much more rewarding and way less expensive. The only reason I paid for this tour, was because I thought the tour has special privileges to walk down Morgan Street and get close to the wall. This is not the case. You have to stay behind the barriers like everyone else.

I simply had to visit Senoia knowing that they were currently filming the walking dead there. It's just an hour drive south of Atlanta and the locals are the loveliest people I have ever met! The tour was simply fantastic. It wasn't rushed, it moved at our speed, and although advertised as 2 hours, we took 3 and all of our questions were answered if possible. Nobody was made to feel a nuisance for wanting to stop and take photos. I even managed to see them actually filming a scene in "Alexandria" whilst there (Steven Yeun - Glen - was on set). All major and minor hotspots from twd were pointed out. We even had exclusive access to stop along Gin road where Alexandria is situated. I can't recommend this tour enough. And for $20 it was an absolute bargain!!! And, you may get to celebrity spot along the way! Loved this!!
