Pretty park. If you like water sports it is good. It has a big lake for non motor sports. The hiking trails are kind of weak. I drove 30 miles on way to get there and it was not worth it.

High Country Outfitters has a Paddle Shack at Morgan Falls Park and it is an awesome, easy way to paddle near Atlanta. You have to reserve ahead of time, but the process was easy and streamlined. Good equipment, a small shop to purchase a dry bag and other useful items. They will hold your keys and valuables for you. Only... More

Sandy Springs found this land nestled underneath the bamboo and turned it into a terrific park. Several covered age appropriate things to climb on and swing on. Plus a great hike on a well travelled trail with nice views of the water. Also nice places to sit and relax or read or play catch. It even has a water fountain... More

Decided to take my daughter paddle-boarding for the first time. This place was great. $25 for the board for the 2 of us, life jacket and paddle included. Staff was really friendly. You can jump in the water and swim or just stay on the board.

Incredible facility for family or group picnic. Just booked it for a cookout for 150 kids & their parents. The large pavillion is perfect for a big group - lots of tables, 2 big grills, an open area in the middle for dancing/presentations. The playground was hugely popular - and huge!! The climbing rope thing in the middle reminded us... More

Our family reunion outing was held at this park. The pavilion was large with adequate seating. This is a beautiful setting for family time.

Even though I have lived in Atlanta for several decades, this park never showed up on my radar - and, I'm sorry it hasn't. I only visited this park today ( July 10th, 2016) but i was impressed with the facilities and the views. Swings facing the lake, covered picnic area, children's play area were all maintained well and clean.... More
