We visited the Morgan Falls Overlook Park in Sandy Springs GA on Nov 27 2016 in the afternoon. This is a nice place not far from the city to spend a peaceful relaxed time with family. At the entrance of the Park is play area for kids with many choices. We found good number of kids and their parents in... More

Overlooking Bull Sluice Lake, this park as large porch swings to sit and relax while letting the view of the lake and surrounding woods help you to spin down from a hectic day. Many families take their kids there to a playground I wish I had when growing up. Sandy Springs has pulled a "one up" with other cities by... More

I love this area, the park was always clean and my daughter loves to play here. We have been coming here for years. Not much of the locals anymore, seems to be a lot of out of Towner's..... Anyways, we will continuely frequent this place because its been home for us!

This hidden treasure has something for everyone and every age. I especially love it because I'm a nature photographer. I wish I had a boat though, because I would be on the lake and not just next to it. I've hiked the paths up the hill and they arejust enough of a challenge. I've brought my 10 month old grandaughter... More

This is set back a ways and they have improved the road leading up to the park. The kids enjoy the overlook into the Chattahoochee and dam area then the walk path and the swinging benches are nice and the play area is super cool covered a bit and tons to do for any age.

Pretty park. If you like water sports it is good. It has a big lake for non motor sports. The hiking trails are kind of weak. I drove 30 miles on way to get there and it was not worth it.

The park has a large playground for children, many bench swings for adults, and a half mile away by the Dam, there is a dog park where they can be let off the leash. Hiking and also kayaking are available.

High Country Outfitters has a Paddle Shack at Morgan Falls Park and it is an awesome, easy way to paddle near Atlanta. You have to reserve ahead of time, but the process was easy and streamlined. Good equipment, a small shop to purchase a dry bag and other useful items. They will hold your keys and valuables for you. Only... More

Sandy Springs found this land nestled underneath the bamboo and turned it into a terrific park. Several covered age appropriate things to climb on and swing on. Plus a great hike on a well travelled trail with nice views of the water. Also nice places to sit and relax or read or play catch. It even has a water fountain... More

Decided to take my daughter paddle-boarding for the first time. This place was great. $25 for the board for the 2 of us, life jacket and paddle included. Staff was really friendly. You can jump in the water and swim or just stay on the board.
